The conflicts with all leads is more relatable with matured audiences cause it might hard to digest on the conflicts & needed bigger, non judgmental view on the characters. This drama overall has underlying issues with stigmas with older women.
Kinda weird people say the ML couple issues are repetative but even from a younger undiences POV, all her worries were big & valid. The ongoing confilict will be felt by her throughout the relationship. Its not easy.
Anyway, the script is damn amazing. Untill now, the script of the ML where they both sat besides the field, when he said he finally understand the FL based on her POV etched in my mind.

Prove that when women in her own element ie her on self that she actually shines. She's smart, good in sports, brave, willfull, funny, kind but her overthinking had affected her emotions. I love that despite showing her insecurity, this drama didnt overly gushed over those "insecuirties" & she just enjoyed being herself throughout the eps.
Its amazing how visual harmony between ML & FL can lead so much chemistry. It doesnt have to be the most handsome or the prettiest. LCM & Yoona visuals matches soo much & which i can conclude yoona kinda match more with mature vibes ML and LCM actually have this mature face/vibes so he kinda suits older role tbh.

This is the apparent internalised misogynist among korean & non korean fans. ML can be bad at acting yet being glorified but when FL even a lil bit not perfect but still can act but wil be terrorised. Same as Kpop tho, male idols can commit hideous crime yet female idol can be lynched when they dont even smile.
The worst part? Its the women who did all the hatred. So women deserves praises when its due & less hatred when its just them not being perfect.

In kdrama scenes, its kinda a thing ML get more compliments than FL eventhough the FL deserved that equally or even more tbh ie Lovely Runner (But LCM REALLY deserves the love & he rock the role). But Female Leads need to get more LOVE as many cases, THE FL carried the whole drama whilst the man just serves their faces lol. Yonna really worked hard, she literally learned professional cooking for FEW MONTHS and the director occasionally visited her, showed how much the crew appreciate her role soo much. This drama theme cant be carried without her due to the charcater. even the director said only Yoona can carry this role.
Random but i love the FL real voice. She has a cute face, but an attractive, kinda big voice for a female actress. Her voice projection is very good tbh & not many actresses have this. Reminds me a lot of Bai lu.
