Missing this messed up, grey charcters kinda of drama. Kdrama nowadays are just not good with romances. What makes a romance drama popular few years back is due to conflicts, misunderstanding etc. Straight up romance just will make people drop the drama

Yes its premiered in prime internationally but sorry not to add "like netflix". The prodcution reminds me a lot of kdrama produced under netflix tbh. And this drama does aired in korea netflix.
This is just basic netflix kdrama production with unneccassary dialogues, typical scripwriting (not soo good) & plots. Tbh This is better as animation esp the camerwork, plots trasitition but overall Ive enjoyed watching them just some parts are just skippable.
This drama holds soo much values tbh and touches many things that rarely in xianxia dramas.

I think that's the point of the drama to give pov of heavenly lord. BJS considered as a good HL tbh. & people x realised its the heavenly lord the most powerful deity not just some god of war so his reaction makes sense even better than i would expect. Its just a character development but being cold, arrogant is just part of as the HL.
After ep 13, i can see the difference of HRY and BJS. HRY is a heroin that will manage things based on her sense of justice, what should be done. Its not that she's ignorant but she's against the system, free spirited tbh. Meanwhile, BJS is the cliche heavenly lord that will follow the rule straight like most xinxia, it can be depicted as the heartless deity, but they just act for the benefit of most. So, their visions here are different. Heavenly law and the world itself wont sit well with someone like HRY.
This drama is getting better over the eps and that's a great sign for me to finish this. Many dramas started good but after 10 eps the plot isnt plotting anymore
