Oh, the way my heart loves this drama and didn't want this to end. This is lowkey my top drama this year, with a good overall execution of everything, especially the consistent plots even 20-plus eps, and all characters that are engaging & our main leads. Thsi drama deserves lots of love

Emperor should be non one dimensional since that's how they surivived a court (which normal viewers will hate it but those who love abstract charcter will love) and past dramas have a lot like this.
but noticed that director tends to stick with one; good to give a more settling plots to viewers or bad emperor; to give a clear line to who is villain.

Li Qin looks soo pretty in their event today. Both of them looks so cute and compatible., the chemistry literally oozing even they're just promoting. She's giving a confident, charming older sister vibes. Cant get over how cute they areeee
Hoping for more good projects for LQ in the future & CZY surely already popular but hope he can shines more cause man is a good actor.

Omg same! CZY past dramas never caught me despite being good actor(maybe due to his cute face lol) but this-Ive never imagined his pretty face can carry such charismatic character. Means he's good in acting, able to carry different persona.

Plus LQ as FL does make him more charming. Werd to say but the strong, hard headed, not typical pretty FL made him manlier? People underestimated how visual harmony really played a role. Everyone can be pretty, handsome etc but two types of visuals that really create harmony/chemistry really bring the best out of charcater. Him having a pretty face and LQ having this sisterly prrety vibes. Damn, the chmeistry exploding

Chinese RN said that CZY is the best ML she had and yes-she deserves good dramas and ML. & bts was super cute esp when CYZ was super shy with her.
I think she's on of the Cdrama actress that able to retained in popular dramas after cdramas become global and only young/new actors with strong bases dominated and repeateadly casts.

She just have this charming sisterly vibes. And I think that the bonus that made Chen Zhe Yuan looked super compatible with her. Their vibes kinda makes the drama better. Even in chinese rednote were making videos how CZY was super shy with her. She's been in the industry way bf cdrama beome super global.

Yup I can vouched that this drama is one of the best drama this year. Other for me might be only POB. This drama, even though it's early, the execution of every character was really great, and the romance is so exhilarating, which is hard to execute. A well-developed plot also defines a good drama, which this drama has, they kept us viewers waiting for the next eps.

This drama takes the successful approach of Kunning palace(same director, scriptwriter) esp on the yearning in romance, politics (just nice), functioning side characters, & no plot holes

Every cast is perfect except kinda hope they could find a better actor for JDM. But the plot and other actors kept me intrested so enough for me. It's just JYB is such a great character in here. A good male lead is more deserving tbh.

LSS sure good. ZLS for me just a good actress but the fierceness and charisma, not many actress able to carry it. Acting and natural charisma are a bonus.

The best part of this is that the FL who had amnesia didn't change her stubbornness and character as a female fighter.

Based on his past proejcts, He wasnt considered as really good actor tbh so that's why he didnt land as the ML. but his face does good to look at lol

Tbh its understandable since she's at most vulnerable place; no memories, friends tried to kill you, stuck wit ur enemy in his territory.

Despite losing her memories, she didn't lose her inherent character as the female warrior unlike in some amnesia drama, she didn't change her character so it will be double frustration huhu

This is the real definition of female general of all cdramas lol. The expression, stunts, even the way she, speak, eats and even sits, didn't try to look pretty at all & most importantly, she didn't look thin or frail. C-Drama directors should take note of this.

Jing Boran & elvira. They sure always choose good projects with good co stars

Yup, people underestimated how having a good co star really helped an actor improving his skills. CZY surely worked hard for this role.

I never thought I'd start to love Chen Zhe Yuan's acting, because his acting had never interested me, even in Hidden Love. But it seems like Li Qin as FL really elevated his character. Plus, im sure he worked hard cause I'm seeing a MAJOR difference in his acting skill. Can see that he's maturing as an actor.

Seems like more backstory than what director gave who is the villain atm.And ep12 but lots of thing happened already, fast pace but never a dull moment. This drama deserves more than most popular drama with female general tbh. Li Qin is the best actress that really carry this chacrater.

Not pretty face only, the way she carried herself & most importantly, her body seems like she's a fighter huhu.
