Yup I can vouched that this drama is one of the best drama this year. Other for me might be only POB. This drama, even though it's early, the execution of every character was really great, and the romance is so exhilarating, which is hard to execute. A well-developed plot also defines a good drama, which this drama has, they kept us viewers waiting for the next eps.

This drama takes the successful approach of Kunning palace(same director, scriptwriter) esp on the yearning in romance, politics (just nice), functioning side characters, & no plot holes

Every cast is perfect except kinda hope they could find a better actor for JDM. But the plot and other actors kept me intrested so enough for me. It's just JYB is such a great character in here. A good male lead is more deserving tbh.

LSS sure good. ZLS for me just a good actress but the fierceness and charisma, not many actress able to carry it. Acting and natural charisma are a bonus.

The best part of this is that the FL who had amnesia didn't change her stubbornness and character as a female fighter.

Based on his past proejcts, He wasnt considered as really good actor tbh so that's why he didnt land as the ML. but his face does good to look at lol

Tbh its understandable since she's at most vulnerable place; no memories, friends tried to kill you, stuck wit ur enemy in his territory.

Despite losing her memories, she didn't lose her inherent character as the female warrior unlike in some amnesia drama, she didn't change her character so it will be double frustration huhu

This is the real definition of female general of all cdramas lol. The expression, stunts, even the way she, speak, eats and even sits, didn't try to look pretty at all & most importantly, she didn't look thin or frail. C-Drama directors should take note of this.

Jing Boran & elvira. They sure always choose good projects with good co stars

Yup, people underestimated how having a good co star really helped an actor improving his skills. CZY surely worked hard for this role.

I never thought I'd start to love Chen Zhe Yuan's acting, because his acting had never interested me, even in Hidden Love. But it seems like Li Qin as FL really elevated his character. Plus, im sure he worked hard cause I'm seeing a MAJOR difference in his acting skill. Can see that he's maturing as an actor.

Seems like more backstory than what director gave who is the villain atm.And ep12 but lots of thing happened already, fast pace but never a dull moment. This drama deserves more than most popular drama with female general tbh. Li Qin is the best actress that really carry this chacrater.

This drama made me fluttered so much. Can count dramas that able to this and this is one of it. Director is good in making subtle yearning ML

Oh my, the ML 100% enticed with the FL from the start when he portrayed the FL pictures for drawing & when he paid less “reward” to people for killing her among his enemies. Plus the way he didnt kill her easily.
Im sure there’re behind the story of his encounter with Fl during past wars esp when she always wear red.

Yes. Both have issues & now taste each other's medicine. FL felt like she knew him & so does the ML (both tought they controlled the lying narratives) but trully no one really knows each other.
Cant expect her to understand him when he failed to open up same goes as the FL, cant expect the ML will show his sincereity in loving her w/o her being truthfull.

Ep 20 and they're actually compatible. The ML is indeed controlling and dominant, which is quite normal realistically for his status (dont look typical drama CEO, that wasnt realistic), but the FL, if she truly removed her facade, truly herself, she's able to control the ML. Both can help navigate each other's careers and personal lives. The dynamic can be found in most career-driven couples.

It's just that the ML needs to sincerely apologise and open up his heart to share his feelings too. FL is full of love, she is willing to give, but the ML had taken it for granted(cant blame fully dince the FL did lied, his past has more story). They need to work that out to know whether they're willing to give the marriage a chance.

As a no. 1 fan of this drama, I want everyone to watch Fated Hearts cause that drama has the same director, scriptwriter and omg, it gave the same feeling on the politics, friendship with the sidekicks & especially the yearning that this drama has. Like, literally it gave the overall same feeling.

Oh my, the badass, empowering FL, intense ML, yearning 2nd lead, special female 2 female friendship screamed KUNNING PALACE & now i noticed its the same script and director omggggg. Even the light, camerawork(even found not as good as other dramas BUT it actually delivered the emotions TREMENDOUSLY despite other dramas looking more expensive.

The politics are done just right, x lengthy, straightforward yet super engaging. And the yearning? My goodness, my heart is fluttering just as when I was with ZLS and BL. The director is actually good in this tbh & this drama proved that this is his niche lo The 2nd lead also did gave yearning that somehow fluttered me if he's not evil tbh. So anyone that loves Kunning should like really watch this for realllll
