This drama is sooooo good. I don't have any expections at first, just watch because of tiktok edits, and all the actors acting so well I love them so much. Especially Huan Er, my girl is so nice and kind of course everyone falling in love with her. Definitely going to find other Yang Zi Xi dramas because damn she is good.
We're planning a podcast on Lovely Runner and I have a question: how did LR do in the ratings compared with other…
Hey, I usually open Wikipedia to see the ratings, they rather up to date with the current eps. You can compare it to other Monday - Tuesday dramas. And they usually put ranking beside the ratings. Additionally, you have to add the comparison in online OTT. Because the demographic of this drama is young viewers who usually are not watching on tv but on online platform (OTT). I think they got like more than 90% viewers. Means like almost every person who subscribe to the OTT watch the dramas. I know this because kdrama news platform in my country like to report this every week.
Same with the ost. I can't give you the numbers, because I don't remember. But the song Sudden Shower and Run Run (i think) increase in position in Melon (i think, i dont remember exactly). A lot of kdrama news platform report this as well. I don't know if it's available on english portal news.
What do you think is inside the time capsule? The other 2 photos they took? A letter?
I saw this post on tiktok, where they captured a scene from the trailer. And sunjae is reading a letter from the time capsule. Here's the link if you wanna see:
My first time seeing Eunbin. It is a very good series. Although there is a lot of Baseball talk, you don't need…
So true. I don't understand a single thing about baseball, but still enjoying it so much. All of the characters, including the baseball players are amazing actors.
So this Drama is heavily growing on me and I love seeing Eunbin so much haha. Was considering seeing her other…
I've seen that. It's sooooooo good. You have to watch it. But it heavily on political side of the baseball club and management. No romance whatsoever. For me, it's more like slice of life kind of thing. Park Eun Bin and Nam Goong Min acting are top notch. Chae Jong Hyeop (the one who played Bo Geol) is very innocent here. He is a rookie athlete so he is kinda cute.
Title of episode: "fate or chance".With a bit of logic I can imagine this: Ki Ho knows Mok Ha was lost in the…
That is.. a very clever observation. It's strange because the director keeps giving Bo Geol facial expression scene. The actor potrays that very clearly and shown the differences. So it must be mean something, right? Because I do believe Bo Geol is Ki Ho.
Just like when Bo Geol mention the idol noona. When everyone forget about the idol popularity, Bo Geol knows it.
I'm on eps 11 and loving it so far. Love love love Xu Lu character. She is sooo cute. And her found family is definitely the best. It's quite refreshing seeing gentle charismatic CEO ML who is not agressive and domineering. It's like the meme "calm bf and hyper gf"
y'all so funny comparing romcom drama to your fave angst drama/movies like - πΆ. The actors itself told fans…
This is so spot on! I want to watch trash romcom with beautiful male and female leads. I don't need to guess what the next plot or who kill who next. I just want funny scene that makes me laugh. Seriously people! Is it so hard sometimes to comprehend that every person has different taste and different want in a drama? If you guys dont like it, move on! There's another fantasy drama and ghost/horror drama playing on Saturday - Sunday drama slot. Watch it then.
When the show started I'm so impressed with the cinematography and pictures, it's so beautiful. But the way they show FL following ML everywhere just left me super uncomfortable. Because if it's the other way (ML following FL), people will protest abt harrasment or the stalkerish behavior. This is just my opinion, maybe this drama is just not for me
Kim Woo bin wow! I love him! Especially him in snippet of using military uniform. Just chef's kiss. I hope he has another drama using military uniform. It totally fits.
And Esom, girl! Before this I watched her in Kill Booksong and I hate her so much (her character). She played so well in both of these drama (& movie). She in military uniform is also a chef's kiss. She played well in dominant female role. I'll be waiting for your next dramas π
I'm on ep. 2, I was so confused about which one of the sisters (?) was called Seol-ah, I thought the EN subs translator…
It's different. They're both siblings so their name indeed very similar. But it's totally different. It's Seol Ah and Seul Ah. You can check in cast and credits sections. And it's not spoiler or plot of the stories
Episode 6:Seriously why did they decide to make the FL character that way?! The ML is supposed to be smart, sly,…
The actress playing Rachel is Tiffany from Girls Generation and this is her debut drama so yeah she still need experience but I think this is fine for her first time. Maybe cut her some slack, please?
So far, it's really good. And I'm a person who love detective/mystery/thriller so I watch a lot of Korean and…
Oh, I watched that one actually. First eps only, but I really didn't like the first eps. I can't connect with the characters. Maybe I try again another time. Thanks tho π
So far, it's really good. And I'm a person who love detective/mystery/thriller so I watch a lot of Korean and…
In my opinion these korean dramas are the best, but mind you it might differ with other opinions. Since like the super popular one Signal (it got remake to Japanese version) and its quite hard for me to continue to watch it. The first episode was kinda boring. Lol.
I like: Voice (season 1, haven't watch season 2 and 3), Tunnel, The Good Detective.
I just realised I watch mostly western crime dramas. Because I like the forensic stuff of crime dramas, so probably started with CSI (so many type CSI:NY, CSI: Miami, CSI: LA), Bones (although there's quite many season and I stopped watch when my favorite character is out), NCIS, Castle, The Blacklist, Criminal Minds (this is soo good, its like you went to the psychopath minds but warning I only watch until season 2, because it's quite gory and vicious it gives me nightmares) . Then, you can not miss Sherlock (british tv show, its the best!) and Miss Scarlett and the Duke (it potrayed woman who doing detective stuff in Victorian era).
Oh bonus, I also watch Japanese dramas. So I mention a few of my favorite one. Not only crime/mystery but also the forensic part or the crime. I like: Unnatural (the best one! I love it so much), Emergency Interrogation Room (quite many season, but it's really fun), Border (Shun Oguri is fantastic actor!), Crisis (also Shun Oguri), and Cold Case (very fast paced but very good nonetheless).
I apologized for quite many dramas mention. I hope you like it as much as I do. Don't hesitate to ask me if you have more questions π
The song at the end of episode 3, did I hear Chen's voice? Or is it just me as an exo-l? His voice is very familiar but I can't find any information abt the soundtrack.
can anyone give me review about this drama?? I was thinking whether I should watch it or instead of it watch the…
So far, it's really good. And I'm a person who love detective/mystery/thriller so I watch a lot of Korean and Western dramas about it. It was quite fast-paced and every episode ends with solving the mysteries (so far for 3 episodes) and one big case regarding the male lead (that probably solve by the end of the season). It's a little bit like drama Voice (without the hearing stuff, I mean they were solving the cases quite fast) and western drama 911 (because it's about the first responders when accident happened). You should try it.
Honestly it's quite different with Hot Stove League. That drama was also very good. I gave it like 9 stars on review. Because I love it so much. Hot Stove League is more on business aspect of a sports team and teamwork of it. So more about social and human interactions (in my opinion). It shown the sports team and how to make the team work together and also people behind the scene that we don't know/never seen before. And it tops with stellar performance of Nam Gong Min and Park Eun Bin so yeah it was really good too. But maybe the first few episodes might need a bit of time until you get used to it.
For me, both are kind of dramas you need your fully undivided attention. Because it might give some clue from their conversations.

And the way he looks kinda mad when she said her online bf was irresponsible? That's totally the clue. Lol π€£
