Is this a shoujo manga? The story is something you'll encounter only in a shojou world..no character development just plain cheesy story and dialogues.

Dunno why but I can't get into her acting, she annoys the hell outta me in every series..She seems nice off screen but I swear I'm forcing myself to watch her scenes, drama by drama. Not that I feel as if she's a bad actress..she's just giving me wrong vibes.

The last half of the series was pure randomness..such a long series..they could've shortened it a bit..like seriously..so many "72 weeks" flashbacks that no one wants to watch. Don't know why I picked this series, I hoped it would be interesting but there are so many other series about fashion that don't reuse clothes and keep it real.

I came back to this page just to warn people..if you're prepared for a long boring drama..watch it, if not, don't bother..it took me 2 years to finish this one..I kept coming back to it because I don't like to drop series..I love Ariel Lin this series was def a flop for her.

Am I the only one who's not that impressed with the drama ? Sure it's cute an all, the characters are convincing but it doesn't really follow the webtoon's way of events..why did they mix and match so many things? It looks rushed.

I don't want to sound cruel but I'll be a villain anyway. She's a pretty woman but acting is not for her. Or music. Or painting. Sometimes having many skills doesn't automatically make you good at them. You should stick to one and be the best at it. I'll explain how I see it :

ACTING - It seems she's getting worse at acting..I keep saying this year after year..she should really stop..she's getting so much backlash these days..Her acting is so awkward that it hurts watching her. Trying another approach is a good thing, but exaggerating was never the best of choices. We all know that it can become tiresome watching an annoying actress. At least she made my least favorite list.

MUSIC - When it comes to music she's not the best singer but she has a sweet voice, perfect for ballads. She's not the best, not the worst..she should find songs that fit her voice more.

ART - Her paintings are somehow interesting..She has a flavor to them..the style is somehow fresh and unconventional. There are many people who enjoy modern styles of painting/drawing. She's no Picasso but she could still sell some of them.

Maybe she's good at her other skills but with the ones mentioned above..she didn't convince me. From my point of view I would say that she's testing the waters to see what's best for her..but I could be wrong. After all she said so herself that “There is no such thing as a perfect person in this world. We all must become the main characters or the stars of our lives. We are all different and start differently. But from whatever is our circumstances, it is very important that we find the opportunities to try out what we want to do.” This being said :

DIRECTING - I heard that her debut as a director with the movie The Peach Tree was a flop with only 30,000* tickets. I haven't seen the movie yet so I can't pronounce myself about it. As far as I can understand, not everybody liked the indie-felt movie. I don't know if I wish to see it either as I'm not really a fan of the synopsis. Maybe it's good, maybe it's bad..those who saw it should talk about it. I do appreciate her courage for trying the field.

NOVELS - I love books and after reading a review for Tango I became interested in it (always a fan of contrasting characters, it also has a decent rating on goodreads and it seems it sold 30.000* copies in a week). I'll state my opinion after reading it. Peach tree - still not interested in the plot.

*Random curiosity. What's with the number 30,000? 30,000 tickets, 30,000 copies..is that the exact number of her Korean fanclub members ? It's quite amusing.

I really like the guy..the bad guy but soft at heart role suits him well..and that hurting face makes me want to hug him badly. Hate seeing him cry, it breaks my heart.

I became interested in him since School 2013. His story in Heirs was another motive to see it to the end.

edit - lol. I just realized I knew him since White Christmas. He also stood out in A Gentleman's Dignity & To The Beautiful You. How could I forget that I looked for him before?! Got to check all his projects now..he's on favs list.

She was awful in Lovers & a bit more OK in Lovers in Paris..just see the later. You can stand her there.

"Why is she acting like a monkey? Annoying as hell." These were my thoughts while I endured this series. I thank Kim Gyu Ri and Jung Chan for playing in this drama..they were my reason to see it until the end.

Jin Woon's cursed to never actually get the girl. He's always the second lead, poor guy. I want to see him get a role where he's the main interest..since Dream High I have this desire to see him have his own girl..plus he has great chemistry, he's extra cute & a great actor.

Just finished Two Weeks and wanted to finish Iris, a series I've had on-hold for a while (since 2011 more exactly) when I realised I know Kim So Yeon. I loved her in Two Weeks, at the time I was watching Iris I wasn't really her fan so this came as quite the surprise.

Hi. Well..I wrote what I felt..I'm kinda sorry if I spoiled someone's mood with my review. Did you finish the series ?

I liked Kim Sun Ah in My Name is Kim Sam Soon. That's one of my favorite series..after watching that series I considered her one of the best actresses out there..until watching When It's At Night. Awful awful awful! She was so annoying there that I had problems finishing the series. I'll try watching her other series as well, I heard City Hall is a good one. Maybe I'll change my mind again.

Hi! Well I didn't pay that much attention to Suzy until Gu Family Book. Everyone was praising the series so I wanted to see it too. God, such an awful series..and she was not the only one to mess it up. Another example is Lee Seung Gi, as cute as he is, he's also an overrated actor. But hey, who am I to criticize an eye candy?!

Anyway, Gu Family Book was a horrible mess from beginning to end. Suzy wasn't that annoying in Dream High for example. I was actually rooting for her while watching that series, hoping that she'll get better one day.

The thing with actors is that if they're cute..I can get over the fact that their acting is horrid. So yeah, I'm one sided. Guilty!~ I love watching porn, I mean sexy/cute men.

I have a few actors in mind who aren't that great but I'll still watch their series: Lee Seung Gi,Jang Geun Suk,Lee Min Ho,Oguri Shun,Choi Si Won,Lee Hong Ki,Joo Won, etc
