These days I keep seeing her in many series(Reply 1997,Cheongdamdong Alice, Jungle Fish 2)..she's great. I got so used to her presence that I started to like her. :)
"You have a problem with order and tidiness. Don't deny it: not only I know it because I'm a talented psychologist, but you should finally fish your mobile phone from under that pile of papers and coffee cups." So so true :)))
I can never find my things..my room is a mess. And while I'm not a musical genius, or a musical talent, or a musical..I love listening to music and just like Nodame, I'm a weirdo.
This test was really funny and described me well.

I'm watching Cheongdamdong Alice (actually waiting each week for new episodes, I fell in love with the character played by Park Shi Hoo) and Maou. Maou is actually good. At least for now..I've just seen the first episodes and it's interesting enough.
What about you? Found any good series?

Yet, when creating something that will leave that ?warm? feeling inside for a longer time, people aren?t as eager to share it. That and the fact that comedy actually has a different definition for each individual (and I?m not talking about the definition given by the dictionary :p ).
A comedic act of a clown scares me badly but for some, it?s actually a good way of entertainment. If it gets smiles and laughs..is it comedy? Yes, but not really.
I can?t answer your question clearly but what I?m sure of is that comedy to be ?good?, it should be carefully thought before acted. It?s not as simple as telling a joke. Age, personality, intelligence, social position, society in general, it resumes to many factors that influence the final result. Same act receives different results.

To make good comedy is harder than to make good tragedy
Tragedy is all around us.. Friends, family, media.. Disappointment, sadness, crying, giving up, awful lives..you?ll find subjects everywhere as melodramatic as you want them. Close-ups on the victims as they cry and tell you the story of their life, sick people on the verge of dying and yet living their life to the fullest..this kind of stories will reach even the coldest hearts. Good tragedy is actually ?pity? and thankfulness that you/your family aren?t living their lives. It?s a good way to attract stand-byers and it?s worth investing in.
But good comedy isn?t as easy to achieve. What does it means to be ?good? anyway? It?s all about giving happiness and it usually comes from small moments, gestures.

I'm sorry again for the late reply. It snowed so I'm as usually stuck out of town with no internet. Because there's another teacher that brought his ipad and internet stick today I asked him and he agreed to let me check my mails.
Just like you, I'm curious why people avoid older dramas. Many older works are better acted and the stories are more realistic made. Maybe we're part of that small group of people that actually not only watch this kind of dramas but also like them.
Personally, when watching a drama, I don't care that much about the aspect of someone. Hairdo and fashion doesn't interest me directly although I admire it when it really impresses me. I'll most likely get interested by the background then the people. When it comes to people, I'm more focused on raw emotions..I love to see them transform emotionally, to struggle through life whether it's about work or love.

I think that Autumn Tale, along other dramas/melodramas of the time, like Winter Sonata, Stairway to Heaven, Sad Love Song, Tree of Heaven, The Snow Queen, All About Eve, Lovers in Paris, Love Story in Harvard, etc are considered classics so it might surprise you that some of them are really good although they're very old. You can't call yourself a drama addict if you haven't seen at least 10 classics :)) I also forgot to tell you that I was also a fan of Kimura Takuya a few years back so I understand why you like him so much.

Ah, Hiiro no Kakera..da, il am in lista. Posibil sa-ti placa In time with you.

Nici o problema..nici mie nu-mi prea imi merge netul cum trebuie.
-ROMES nu este cine stie ce;
-In time with you mi-a placut, este o exceptie pentru serialele taivaneze care de obicei sunt de proasta calitate;
-To The Beautiful You a inceput bine dar m-am plictisit ingrozitor de la jumatatea seriei
Merci!
Cat despre animeuri..
-Dae Jang Geum- este varianta anime a dramei coreene? Imi pare cunoscuta descrierea.
Cum ti s-a parut?

I have Easy Fortune Happy Life on hold, I've seen just the first two episodes. I can't say I was that impressed with it either, gave it a 5 because I like Roy Qiu very very much.
Tatta Hitotsu no Koi? Hmm..I've seen just the 1th episode of that one but as I'm not a fan of Kamenashi Kazuya I promised myself that I'll first learn to deal with him and then continue to watch the series. I can't be biased. I heard the series is good. For now I've seen a few of his series but still can't accept him but if you say that he's better in Tatta Hitotsu no Koi..I may give him another chance.
So, what do you plan to watch next?

If you want to watch a series Hyun Bin plays in, and just like me, you don't want to meet the spoiler - Ha Ji Won-, just watch My name is Kim Sam Soon. I actually didn't like Secret Garden because of her. I couldn't see their chemistry. I thought I could get over it, but, unfortunately she's one of those actresses that might actually top the "avoiding list" one day. Or just try it..I may exaggerate. Anyway thanks for reminding me to add her to the list(don't know why I forgot about her)..I also like bathing in the awesomeness of good looking actors but in my case if the costar is awful at acting, I'll spot it right away.

Cute NANA annoys me as well, I find her a bit fake. In time with you was good but maybe I was in the mood for this kind of genre/series, I can't say that you'll like it as well. In the end I looked around and got torrents for all the series you recommended, now I'm waiting until they finish downloading to watch them. I even took the movie :)) I'm sure I won't be disappointed. Do you have any series you're watching right now?

Am terminat ROMES, In time with you, To The Beautiful You si NANA(filmul).

Toate bune ?

As I was out from the face of the Earth I spent the days watching/finishing a few series myself. ROMES - random/average detective story; To The Beautiful You - started well but got boring episode after episode; In Time With You - a nice surprise, it actually impressed me; and NANA - that was also very good.

I also finshed Full House 2 and I saw Midas a long time ago. But if Midas was at least interesting at some points, I was really disappointed by Full House 2. Now as I look back, maybe Full House the 1th season wasn't that good either..I agree with the fact that Finding Mr. Destiny is boring and as anticipated as it was it fell flat compared with all the commotion it created. I haven't seen Love and Honor but as you describe it, even if I'm not a fan of historical series/movie, I'll take a look at it.

Thanks again for the site. Actually it's the same for me too. I don't have a place from where I can buy Asian dramas or anime. There is one online store for manga tough but it's rather expensive with all the taxes. Even if it's like this, I promised myself to buy the manga/anime/drama series little by little when I manage to get enough money. For now I saved a few series I want to rewatch on DVDs waiting for the moment when they'll be available to buy from an official store.

Thank you for the recommandations. I've seen the first episodes of Time Between Dog and Wolf and Great Teacher Onizuka a long time ago and had them on hold because my PC broke when I was watching them so I lost the files, now that I also have the links, maybe I'll watch them online. I think it's a good idea to continue from where I left. I haven't seen the rest of the series in that list but I think I might actually like them. I'll tell you what I think after I finish them series by series. For now, I watched so many anime series that I forgot what's like to watch something "real".
And may Santa bring many good Asian dramas!!!
Wish you lots of love, joy and happiness.
