On Fake It Till You Make It Sep 25, 2023
I did not know this was only 14 episodes so when I watched episode 14, I was afraid they are going to break up again in the succeeding episodes. Chinese dramas should be like this, no more so many filler episodes. The male lead is so my type, he is so handsome LOL. Can anyone recommend me a good drama from him?

Zhang Miao Yi is really good with this type of role. She is a good actor because the way she portrayed Xiao Tu is not the same as with Su Zai Zai. The male lead is so handsome but he can't act LOL. The side characters are so funny especially the beauty queen classmate, the way she acts her character is so funny. I am still on episode 10 and I am still enjoying it. I am so glad it is only 24 episodes.

I really like the first half but it kinda went downhill when they returned to Muxi. We had early kissing scenes from the main leads but nothing happened at the end, it is kinda disappointing since they have great chemistry. Even the second leads had last kissing scene but not the leads, which made it weird. So many unnecessary side plots when the real deal should just focus on the leads.
The acting and humor in the first half is good but when they revealed her true identity, the acting is kinda lacking. The villain also is acting too much, her laugh is not evil but so funny. (Btw, she reminds me of Goo Hara (RIP), their resembalnce is uncanny.)

Still a good watch although I skipped a lot towards the end. I wished they focus more on the romance of the leads in the latter half. Overall, I think the main leads did a good job and will forward to their future dramas. And Yan Zi Xian can kiss damn LOL

First Frost is a spinoff of Hidden Love with the brother in the main role is yet to be announced... The Best Of…
OMG, I just searched for First Frost and is it really Song Wei Long who will be Sang Yan?! After Go Ahead, I've been waiting for so long for SWL next drama and I can't believe he will be San Yan. Thanks for the info!

I'm so proud considering Miaoyi and Yiran aren't bigger stars yet in mainland, and wifty got to air along with…
I really am surprised that Zhou Yi Ran is not that big of a star because with that face, I though he is already a very popular Chinese actor LOL. This would probably his breakthrough drama. Just hopefully he is not typecast as the quiet handsome male lead. If only this aired in Netflix same as Hidden Love, they will be more popular.

I really love and enjoyed this drama and Hidden Love more than the Korean dramas airing right now. No unnecessary plots/twists, just cute romance dramas I am looking for.

I first watched Hidden Love and someone said this drama is from the same novel writer and I am definitely not disappointed I watched this too. They both have some similarity but different vibe. Plus I like the take of the novel writer on female leads who are cute and clingy but has self-awareness and respect on their own and can stand on their own. Sang Zhi and Su Zai Zai are so cute.

Bonus is the acting is so much better than most of the Chinese romance dramas. Even the second leads of both dramas, I really enjoyed and did not find them annoying. Kisses still needs improvement but since they are more like innocent romcoms, so I'll give them a pass LOL. Duan Jia Xu and Zhang Lu Rang are my fave nontoxic male leads.

Does anyone know if Zhu Yi novel writer have anymore upcoming novels adapted to chinese dramas?
