Is it worth the watch because honestly it was hard to get through S1 just because of FL. I am not sure if it her acting or the way she was written but I cannot stand her; she’s sooo damn annoying 😭. She kinds of ruins the whole thing, minus her I feel like the story would be more enjoyable becau The rest of the cast was pretty fun to watch.
I started watching this drama honestly because the main actor had the same glasses as me . ? But as I got into it, the drama wasn’t too bad and I liked the fact that they didn’t make a big deal about the teacher- student relationship so that was kind of what drew me in. Now I haven’t left a detailed review because I’m only at ep 14. So far the fact that the female lead lacks soo much common sense really bothers me and that cliché « I’m too nice and can’t defend for myself » type, just wrecks my nerve. Just because of that I assumed it was going to be a light hearted and straight to the point but no. Now it’s getting draggy, hella repetitive and we have officially entered the jealous arch. Time to skim through.
I am a bit torn about watching this drama just because the ML and FL’s romance looks weird and honestly based on the casting I feel as if it would have better if it was more on the comedic side. This chemistry just ain’t it.
Honestly I can relate on pausing ELOD and I was so shocked that I did that especially because I have waited basically 3 years for this, only to drop it at episode 6. I was watching this while the episode were still being released but when Di Jun was about to marry that other woman I just could not stand it and it really had me fuming (I couldn't help but feel bad for Feng Jiu). It's august now and everything has been released and subbed so I think I'll finally get back to it. As far as DOTS, I had watched compilations of the funny moments before i watched the whole thing and I can say that definitely helped me get through. Its not too terrible as far as filler because remember that it is a military theme and not your typical rom com. The fact that she turned that man down in favor of her career was a nice touch in my opinion just because the typical theme that women's lives revolve around finding dream guys to sweep them off their feet is just overrated and I'm sure there are plenty of drama to satiate you.
Napa needs some kudos even tho the show was on some other type of none sense. Honestly you could just watch ep 17, 23 and 24 if you're considering this. I tried really hard to watch the show but after a few episode i just skimmed through the serie.
