On Eve Jul 25, 2022
Title Eve Spoiler
This started off SO well, easily was one of the best dramas I watched this year... until it just plateaued somewhere in the middle and I lost all interest. I don't think I'll watch the final episode. Disappointing. Amazing performance by Seo Ye Ji, but come on - this could have been SO much better.

On Yumi's Cells Season 2 Jul 25, 2022
Title Yumi's Cells Season 2 Spoiler
Absolutely LOVED this series. However I did feel that the writers didn't do Ba Bi justice. Jinyoung and Go Eun's chemistry was no joke - and it just felt like their second break up just didn't make enough sense to me. Like I love how well fleshed out Wung and Yumi's story was in S1 - you could see how the cracks started appearing, and they really paid a lot of attention to explaining the motivation behind each of the cells. I really don't feel like the writers spent enough time on Ba Bi's cells like they did with Wung - which leaves so many question marks and confusions around this season and both Ba Bi and Yumi's actions. Could have done a lot more with it tbh, feels like a lot of wasted potential. HOWEVER I'm only saying that because this series started off by setting my expectations SO high. SO GOOD. LOVED IT. <3

I kinda agree with you. Something is lacking in this drama. I don't know what but this isn't going the way I was…
I agree completely with OP's comments about the cinematography, but personally, I felt that given the script, I can't complain about LJG's acting. The character feels like a 15 year old, so I get the "hero complex". Like there's very little else that he could have done here given how the character's written. I hated episode 1, there was honestly no intrigue in it for me, but episode 2 sets a bit of a Scott Pilgrim Vs The World tone, so we'll see, lol.
