I feel like the low-ish rating is due to the schedule. I've noticed every other comment mentions the delay between…
Personally, I found out villain much more interesting when he seemed more morally grey. Trying to figure out if he was good, bad, or in between was interesting. For me, he just kind of flatlined once his motivation was revealed. The actor is great but he really got to show his chops in the beginning with his character. Obviously, the airing schedule has nothing to do with quality, but it does make it harder for audiences to maintain a feeling of connection with characters. This becomes an issue when people are used to a certain thing, it changes your tolerance for those things. It's like if you live somewhere where it's normal to have to wait 10+ minutes in a queue at the supermarket, and then someone comes in from somewhere where waiting 1 minute is the norm. 10 minutes will feel like a LOT more than 10 to them, because to them, the one minute probably already feels like a lot because it's 'normal'. P.S. I hope this doesn't come off as a rude rant, because I don't mean it that way.
The airing schedule hasn't helped. I think this drama would be much more enjoyable if you just watched it straight…
I'm hoping that the rating goes up once people start watching who have been waiting for it to end. Yes, it has issues, but compared to other dramas which have higher ratings, I think this one has suffered the most from having a messed up schedule, which is not the fault of the drama, but it's made it much harder to connect with the characters.
It's just occurred to me that she's having a relationship with the reincarnation of her dead ancestor. I get that it's not technically incest, but for me, it definitely gets an ick tick ✅ It's like "Hey baby girl, a couple of lifetimes ago I was your great great great grandfather. Wanna hook up?" 🤣
LMAO SO HER DOG SON COMMITS SUICIDE BY JUMPING OFF A CLIFF?! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ WTF IS THIS SHOWWWW
That came out of nowhere. There was no hint of it before, despite the 6000 flashbacks, and suddenly we've got puppy suicide thrown into the mix??????????
Its been fine for me and I am usually the person who dissects a drama or scene and I haven even summonsed up any…
I agree about the colour and that it looks fried to within an inch of its life. Pity, because I think she's gorgeous. Although, if the aim was actually to make her seem like a slightly frazzled teacher, it was a good idea. The writing doesn't seem to back that up though.
Okay, so after reading the stream of really bad comments on last episodes I finally gathered the courage to watch…
The airing schedule hasn't helped. I think this drama would be much more enjoyable if you just watched it straight through. One episode a week tests the patience of people who are used to seeing two, but we're grownups, we knew what we were signing up for, but the two two-week breaks between episodes was just a mess. Throw in a badly written mountain god (who was SO much more interesting in the beginning) and a lot of repetitive flashbacks (especially frustrating when you're only getting one ep a week), and I think a lot of people started to feel like the drama was just messing with them.
What even was this? Until ep3 it made sense, after that half the characters vanished, it felt I was watching something…
My in laws preach that God is Love, and simultaneously believe that God sends unbaptised babies to hell to burn for eternity. Religious nutjobs will believe anything if it's packaged in a way they like.
Its so sad that this piece of a beauty got a shitty ott platform like Disney+ which cant even make their shows…
I'm in Australia, and Amazon Prime is the worst here for either not making them available, or delaying the release for reasons I don't understand. I'm no defender of Disney, but in my location I breathe a sigh of relief if it's them and not Prime.
I'm now 2EP AND IM SO OBSESSED NOW.... I'm so happy that some directors are getting and making dramas or movie…
My daughter and I are starting learning Auslan in January. And that Granny basically trying to teach her son that deafness is somehow evil, is evil itself. I've only watched 2 episodes, but I hope she gets a good hiding at some point.

Drama: "Oh no you won't!" 🤣
