Hwang Dong Man - An aspiring film director who is the only member of the famous film industry gathering "The Eight" who has yet to debut. Like an uninvited guest, Dong Man constantly circles the edges, masking his ever-present anxiety with endless rambling and bluster to get by.

Byeon Eun A - A film company PD nicknamed "the axe" for her incisive script reviews at Choi Film. Eun A dreams of maintaining an unshakable calm center in any situation, but in reality, she suffers emotional overload so severe that she bleeds from her nose, battling her own trauma. In particular, Eun A ’s journey—healing her own wounds through Han Dong Man, who may appear obsolete by society’s standards yet is stronger inside than anyone else, and in turn transforming Dong Man’s perceived worthlessness into something radiant.

Park Gyeong Se - A once-successful film director whose recent failure fuels a deep inferiority complex. Despite his achievements, he is obsessively shaken by Dong Man, whom he considers beneath him. His volatile mix of pride, resentment, and jealousy drives much of the drama's tension and dark humor.

Ko Hye Jin - The CEO of a Ko Park Film and Gyeong Se's wife, she is a grounded, decisive leader who anchors the group. Calm and generous yet firm when needed, she mediates conflicts and holds the fragile relationships together with quiet strength and realism.

Hwang Jin Man - Dong Man's older brother and a former poet who has withdrawn from society after confronting his own failure. Living a bleak, isolated life, he embodies silent despair. His shared pain and unspoken bond with Dong Man add emotional depth and weight to the story.
