Not sure when it was supposed to be originally but, I know they started in July. So around 7-8 months of filming is still within that normal range for filming time. Lots of coordination and stuff goes into the filming and working with the schedules of the actors plays a role in it too

With them still being in post-production this late into the year, I'm kinda doubtful they will be able to release it this year. From what I see, usually movies in South Korea announce a release date around 2 months before they release in theaters. But still hopeful it can come out this year, probably would have to be around December though
Is MDL not adding cast to dramas anymore until they're officially confirmed?
From what I've been told is that they are no longer accepting cast additions unless they've been confirmed by agency, network, production company, actor saying it themselves etc.
It's a little bit left and right though because sometimes they get approved without those confirmations and sometimes you gotta wait until they actually confirm
