I'm right there with you. I haven't finished watching the show, and the female lead is bothering me a lot. I just…
I don't think it's misogyny, I believe it's a 'kink'. This drama was written by a female writer, and I've noticed, most of the repetitive female characters are written by female writers. They find it cute, and funny, and in the end, these strong female characters they write always turn soft at the end and turn into damsels. I always stir clear of romance dramas, but I'm weak when it comes to the male actors, and watch. As much as we hate on her character here, I'm sure, elsewhere, she is loved and they find her annoyance 'cute.'
Well, what is it with Kdramas lately and the super annoying female leads that are supposed to be badass, but end…
I'm right there with you. I haven't finished watching the show, and the female lead is bothering me a lot. I just hope they don't turn her into a damsel in distress at the end. I know they will be a couple, and It's so forced. I'm on episode 7, and out of no where the female keeps acting like a child and denying her feelings for him, I don't even know where it started. I've doing myself a favor by skipping over her parts, but It's going to become a chore later because she'll be working together with SIG's character. I can see they never really put thought into the age, being careless and all, and It's a little disgusting. I love the cafe gang, and they are amazing and funny. Too bad there's always a negative to positives. It could've been such a better show without a romance/ female lead involved. She's not a bad actress, but her character should've been kept as support. She does have her moments, her episode 7 audition was good.
My comment on episode 3: Just because he doesn't want to apologize to her, she's going to stalk him? And that ending, why in the world is she interrupting him? The preview for next episode has me rolling my eyes already. Can't believe they'll become a couple, her characterization doesn't equip with his.
meh~ I don't agree with your final remark though. I'm not interested in these kinds of shows, and yet my only reason to watch this is because I'm a Seo In Guk's fan.
hopefully smoking gun comes out soon. He really needs a good drama atp to get much of his deserved recognition
Hope so too, the trailer looked good. I'm watching him in Cafe Minamdang and he's so cute, just wish there wasn't a female lead involved, or it could've been very enjoyable.
Why they turned everything into (silly) comedy. I'm able to overlook over the top comedy as I'm used to it in…
If you can't overlook the comedy, that's your problem. Don't criticize the people who are enjoying it. Stick to your indian movies movies if it bothers you so much.
The show ratings maybe got brigade by super fans of the FL or ML? There is 50k ratings on this show vs 12k for…
lol, just because one drama has higher ratings over the other doesn't mean there is a conspiracy going on. Just because attorney woo is popular on tiktok or other social media, it doesn't mean people are actually willing to watch it. I've found that drama to be cringe worthy, but cute at the same time, and yet I refuse to watch it. I'm watching Cafe Minamdang and people are voting it down, even though there only reason to watch is Seo in Guk. So no, no brigade by superfans. Maybe people just prefer this drama over yours, and don't want to rate your drama because they haven't watched it.
I wasn't planning on watching this, but I need some SIG. I'm on episode 2 right now, and kind of confused by their age? Is she supposed to be like 10 years younger than him? The younger version of her looks like a sixth grader while he is already in police uniform. I honestly believed she was older than him, and it's kind of silly they are doing this to the character.
I really want to watch him in something that doesn't revolve around romance or comedy. His projects have been mostly boring, and I really hope he picks something good going forward.
