I don't understand the high rating. Although it had a good main story line, the side characters were just annoying. Their shenanigans and over the top humor got irritating real quick. It felt like they were just fillers to drag the show along. I would've rather have asked for more screen time from the villains instead of these tag along side characters.
I watched this because I was interested in their relationship, but the side stories about the cases were boring. The only case that interested me was with the violinist. The ending was okay, because I got tired of watching the show and wasn't interested in how they reached the verdict with the main antagonist, but their relationship towards each other was conclusive enough for me to think they will end up together. Also, there is live octopus eating, so if you hate animal cruelty, I'd stay away. The show isn't that great, and it isn't that bad. If you miss it or drop it, you haven't missed anything. Their relationship in the show isn't even the core part of the story. The acting is superb from the female lead, I can't believe she is 50. Kudos the the fl and ml, they carried 16 episodes for us to watch.
All I want to say is that Ji Chang wook is adorable in the show. I just finished episode 8, and honestly the show isn't that good. I'm just here for JCW eye candy, he's just so cute to look at.
This show was a thrill to watch. From start to finish. It had a good story, good characters, strong competent female male leads. The main villain and side villains were good, and the supporting cast was great. 10/10 recommended. For those that aren't into romance, and like strong females that don't need to be saved all the time, this show is for us. The bromance was the right amount, and the ladies kicked ass.
