I agree, It's tacky of them to have used real people names, and I'm 100% against it. It still doesn't mean you get your sensitive panties in a bunch and review bomb a show which has plenty of good qualities. Seeing these bts army with their disgusting behavior is ugly. One of them wished bombing on my family.

The non stop crying from the female lead got on my nerves. Over 10 episodes of her shedding tears over everything while never coming up with any solutions. She's the most incompetent lead police officer I've seen in a drama. Twice she was cuffed with her own handcuffs and being rescued because she didn't have the keys, and yet she has keys during another scene. Besides the first episode, she didn't do police work at all, and her only solution was to run away with the male lead after she found out. I was expecting a strong female lead, instead I saw a wife/mother/daughter trying to look the other way. The story could have been so much better if she'd toughened up and played a crucial role, instead of damsel all the time. I was hoping she'd come up clutch in an episode, and that was impossible. The ending was horrible, and the story was somewhat okay. If only the drama was like the poster, where she plays a tough detective cornering her husband into the truth. If not for the male lead, I would've stopped watching this early on, but I'm a sucker for male whump and this was recommended to me. I don't understand the fetish of kdrama females being incompetent but she was a real mental drag through out the show. 7/10 because the male whump was awesome and the actor delivered.

This show is the reason why I hate romance involved in any thriller mystery shows. The female lead is the most incompetent police officer I've ever seen. She gets pushed around and is fooled so many times. I'm on episode 14 now, and will write a full comment later.

No, they don't have to be wonderful and kind, but not have such an attitude that you want to drop an entire movie over it.

They need to stop giving female leads bad attitudes. Couldn't stand the lady at all.

The Guest has a lot of bromance and whump from two male leads. There's 0 romance and has a good ending too. Highly recommended.
