I have mixed feelings about this drama. Episode 3 felt like a headache because there were too many segues and unnecessary scenes in my opinion. Episode 4 was ok however.. I don't know. I feel like there's still a lot of room for improvement for this drama.
I didn't get the door thing. Can someone explain it to me please?
During episode 2, Mr. Umbrella invited Da Ni over his home. Da Ni found out that he had a digital lock inside one of his doors inside his house. This is weird because digital locks aren't common to be put inside the house as they're more used for front doors outside. After this scene, there was also a scene wherein Mr. Umbrella had a meeting with Gyeoroo's president and Eun Ho and they were talking about a guy who's been missing for a long time. Both scenes are not connected to each other, but go figure.
I don't consider SHK a bad actress. You guys might want to check out her other roles in the past. She even acted as a blind person in That Winter, The Wind Blows. Her role here is to act reserved. Cha Soo Hyun has never had that much social experience in life hence her personality. She grew up having a strict mother and she's been sheltered all her life. If there's someone to blame here, I think it's her mother because she's the one who turned Cha Soo Hyun the way she is now.
Is no one going to mention that Sung Joon and Baek Sung Hyun are going to reunite again after six years? They were co-stars in White Christmas. I have high expectations for this drama!
I know a lot of people have been really disturbed about how Go Ae Rin's character easily moved on from her husband, but this is dramaland and it's not as if her whole life is being featured on-screen 24/7.. Also, every person has a different level of mourning. It's not as if she's in love with Kim Bon anyway. From what I can tell, it's Kim Bon who has feelings for her and not the other way around. She likes Kim Bon and she cares and values him because he also values the love of her life (her children).
P.S.: Lmao so I looked up Jung In Sun's profile here on MDL and I found out that she's only 27 years old! I can't believe that she and SJS match so well together despite the age gap. It's surprising how she's younger than most actresses right now!
Can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that they made a 1 hour long episode for a happy ending? Most dramas with happy endings only feature the happy ending for like.. 10 minutes or something. Lol
The only thing that disappointed me in this drama is that they over-hyped the role of Kim Hyung Tae but they didn't even feature him that much. I feel bad for his character. Nonetheless, I can't believe this is ending later!! Such a good drama. Jennifer made me cry when she broke down on the recent episode. I do hope that the next episode won't be the end, though.. We might've mistaken the drama for only having 32 episodes. *crosses fingers*
