They had an opportunity to simplify it compared to the novel, but they made it even more complicated, while missing the most important point: why these parallel worlds were created -- the most meaningful thing of the story.
Dew is not the main character in the story, the author just built only one main character - Mum. When making the series, the script writer tried to add more scenes for Dew to make him main character. So you can see that Dew's script is weak and disjointed, much more absurd than Mum's.

No, he died and fell into oblivion along with all the characters in his world. The author and P' Mum both forgot that there was such a Dew and such a world, even though they worked so hard to save his life for 10 episodes.

I don't understand, in both ep 11.1 and ep 11.2, Dew rejected Mint but why are Mint and Mum's attitude towards this so different?

- Episode 11.1: Mint knews Dew rejected her because of her brother, and she happily to make them couple, like a shipper😂. And Mum knew Dew refused Mint, but he's just feeling relieved and more than happy to see Dew rejected her to come to him.🙂

- Episode 11.2: Mint was rejected but she was like crazy, crying and messing around in the street with Aun and Joey in a wedding dress 🙄
(and Dew rejected Mint since Mint cried and Mum gave Dew a punch, why we still have wedding dress scene after that? 🤔)
And Mum, needless to say, knew that Dew rejected Mint, but in order to go to another Mum that wasn't him, he went crazy and came to destroy Dew and his love immediately.

I don't know if you watched ep 9 and 10 or not , but in ep 9 and 10, Dew 2 died for real after saving Mint and the story of that world is over. Then the Mum that Dew 1 meets is Mum from the 3rd world 🤯, he said he is not the Mum who killed Dew and also not the Mum in Konkaen, so he is the 3rd version😂😂of Mum. Dew 1 chooses Mum 1 ( Wake Up) or Mum 3 ( Dream On) is the story in eps 11.1 and 11.2

If they had clearly explained that Dew's world is Dystopia, maybe the audience would be less upset.
But apart from it, ridiculous things such as Dew knew everything from day one but said nothing to Mum, and did nothing until the day he was shot dead.

- Suddenly, Mint's senses come back and she happily accepts that Dew doesn't love her and pairs him up with her brother.
- Suddenly, Dew's parent very open-minded, not only accepting their child as gay but allowing him to love a famous playboy pub owner.

the last episode and it was a bit bland. Everything is unbelievably perfect and Mum and Dew come together effortlessly and overcome all obstacles at the speed of light. And Mum seems to have completely forgotten about the other world Dew who died not long ago.

Yes, during the whole period from November 6 to 24, Dew already knew everything. 😉

But the script writer do not allow Dew to tell Mum anything 😉, because if he did, the most interesting twists - Mum's quest to find out the parallel worlds and Dew's killer would be gone. 🥴

To keep this story alive, Dew is forced to keep silence and stay still the whole time, just waiting P' Mum to come every night 😂
