When Earn first appeared, I was really shocked. He is so handsome! I really like Phunās visual too, but when Earn came, āPhun got a matched!ā bcos they could literally just sit and do nothing and only served us with their visuals, with that face cards, people will obey. HAHAHAHA

Also, one of the reasons why I enjoyed this series is the visuals of every characters! even the girls are so gorgeous T^T Not just they are fine and gorgeous, they were also funny. They are still young but they can really ACT!
I definitely like Ohm and Mick pair! They were cute too. Also, Toto (Mick) is Tataās brother, so seeing him here is so weird bcos he really resembles Tata (SMTR25) HAHAHAHA but they werenāt the official pair since Toto already left the company T^T
Anyway, this is a must watch bl series! If you want a teenage love <ā3

I personally think they made the right casting, knowing their ages irl and the charactersā was just perfect. At least, they do not need to act ālike teenagersā and we are not forced to watch (kinda) older actors portraying a character thatās way more younger than their actual age (had been watching series like this and it was really awkward, esp if they look like they were also forced to act like teenagers, not all series but most of it). Afterall, the novel is about teenage boys in their junior year, and the actors who were casted did well for their roles, they didnāt acted bad nor awful, it was good, improvements will be easy to achieve.
DAMN. I never knew I would love this! I really didnāt give this a chance before since I donāt like Highschool setting that much bcos of its cringey moments (I am old, thats why XD) but bcos I got interested to AlmondProgress last year (thanks to GeminiFourthās show), I was supposed to wait for their upcoming series but I got tired and so I started Lovesick without even any expectations but WOW it is actually a great teenage bl series!
But of course, as a girlie in her early 20s, I definitely had culture shocked watching this. What do you mean teenagers nowadays are so brave in love? I could never (I have never experienced HS love). Their characters are around 14-15 years old in this series, right? (for the actors, checking their profiles, mostly of them were underage during the time of filming too, I feel like it was a great casting since they do not need to act like teenagers LOLS) Damn, I feel like watching my kids falling in love, getting heartbroken, being sad and crying bcos of one-sided love, brave to fight for their feelings, determined in love, finding their true identity and slowly accepting it, speaks their heart out (esp to their family) and knowing what makes them happy.
Well, āback in my daysā it was hardāor maybe it wasnāt? but maybe I wasnāt just brave enough to start bcos I was afraid to get hurt, that until I finished studying, I never dated and just focused in my studies, since it is the most important key for my future. Mmmh, probably. And also, I never think of my happiness before, I was just following how my family wanted me to do, just like Phun to his father, but mine was much worse, since Phun got to speak his heart our and bravely told his family what he really wanted to do. Thatās why, even until now that I finished studying, I really donāt know what would I do and how should I wanna be, as I didnāt had a solid dream growing up :((( But itās okay, itāll be fine.
Anyway, I was definitely jealous of these kids, bcos I could never be like them, brave and determined in love. But just know that love isnāt everything, thereās more ahead for you, and these days, loving someone is risky, dangerous, and scary, as well as finding the right person. So, take care of your heart and donāt rush things.
PS. I was actually scared to start this bcos I was afraid there would be lots of kissing scenes, so I was very glad it didnāt and really just a common teenage loveāholding hands, warm hugs, eye contacts, cute interactions, cringey moments, appropriate kisses like in cheeks or forehead. Itās kinda worrying for me if it has many kissing scenes on the lips knowing their ages, and the actors might be uncomfortable about it, good that the company didnāt pushed them to do it (I havenāt read the novel, so I also dk about kissing scenes) and really just follow the sweet puppy love where teenagers always experienced.
