wait can someone explain the ending to me because i'm confused lol - was everything that happened simply a shared coma 'dream'? or did FL really go back in the past to help ML?

-what does the ending credit scene of them kissing in his consciousness mean? do they forever share a conscious despite being awake in the modern world? or was that scene just for fun? (you can see the set lights off to the side lol)
i wish FL and ML had more kiss scenes, but aside from that (and my confusion), i really liked the series! it was my first short length drama and i had fun watching!❤️
