A pity the main female character has glaring flaws that make her, as a heroine of the story, really unattractive. How can she, given her presumed intellect, be no naïve to steal the highly controversial object from the house of a high ranking official and hand it over to SF, who she knew used her before and a dubious character, to say the least.
I do not understand Ran Yan. It is very difficult to like her. I get irritated by her immaturity, naivety and arrogance.
