This drama is a mess, hopefully they will salvage something in the last episodes but it's only hope. Two most anticipated dramas in 2020, this and TKEM and both have under delivered imo.
I wasn't expecting much from this drama and just tried it out at first for time pass and light comedy but MY GOD this is actually quite a good drama, comedy was it its peak and CJH acting as a zombie was top notch.
I want season 2 but i don't think they finished the drama with the hint that there will be another season.
Kim Young Kwang really stole the show, outstanding acting from start to finish, he portrayed every set of emotions from funny to being sad superbly!! I can fully understand the ending and i think it fits perfectly because FL saying ML in middle episodes why she can't forgive him even if she wanted to and this was the flashback which occurred in ML's head in the end.
Feels like empty inside after watching that ending despite an excellent first season, hope they start making season 2 sooner coz they haven't even finished the first part properly with Samael.
Coming back to this season i think the story was well portrayed along with ML acting, Suzi acting was ok, not bad and not that good.
I really want to see how CDH and GHR will meet again under the circumstances where GHR is now a partner of Jessica and CDH has joined forces with Lily and her partner. I just want to see how they react. Please please make it happen!
The audacity of the two exes to leave and come into someone's life whenever they please, everytime Jae Hyuk appeared on the screen, i just couldn't but get angry and Noh Eul literally said to ML "Break up with her right now because i don't want you to be with another girl" like wtf LMAO
While the two ML interaction and eating together and sharing their sorrows is wonderful to watch and mesmerizing

It's good that you are enjoying the drama, shame i can't say the same for myself :) as for Goblin i only liked the bromance between grim reaper and goblin and their funny moments, the rest of it was meh
This might become the first drama for Jang ki yong which didn't suit well with the audience, i mean it's not his fault and not the other main leads fault too, it's on script writer that we are in this jungle of confusion as what the hell is even happening in this drama lol

I get it that we have seen this kind of script many times but i think it's good to see such dramas once in a while, i am a die hard fan of thriller dramas but sometimes after watching so many dramas of that kind, i need a relaxing light rom com drama that would fill me in and Dinner Mate is exactly what i like, it's a simple drama with a simple story.
Not to mention i very much like both the main leads and SJH is so goddamn pretty, looking forward to the next episodes :)
The name of this drama should be "Abysmal" instead of Abyss and i am being generous here by saying that. absolute disaster with the story-writing and how they carried the drama
If you want to describe this drama in one word it would be "MESS", seriously why can't they make a simple good thriller drama with not so much complications, huge disappointment this drama for me!
Cannot believe some of you decide to give rating to the drama based solely on female lead acting and not the story or other cast acting, the two male leads acting is superb and yes FL might be a bit annoying but come on 7/10 ?? really ?? While some other mediocre shows get 8.5 easily, this rating doesn't do justice at all with this drama. This drama so far is defo 8.5+ and pretty sure these low ratings are given by people who just want a happy go show where ML and FL go hand in hand smiling for the full 16 episodes.

So JKY will get the girl in the end ?? Ah, i wanted him to be like a real badass serial killer in this drama with all the black outfit (i love him in that lol) and LSH get the girl in the end but i think it won't happen now
It's an ok just above average drama, well atleast so far, didn't put much hope at the start so that's why i don't feel disappointed, good thing is there is no romance at all between the leads which i like in thriller dramas, i guess at the end it will be just another thriller drama like so many
Have to say that's an attractive cast to start with which makes me want more to see this drama now. Loved JKY acting in Kill It and i like it when he is the bad guy in the drama.
The story of reincarnation and fate if not done properly can be a disaster, i really hope that's not the case with this drama and they fit everything properly with story.
Lastly, do we know whether FL has a slight liking to the bad guy (Jang Ki Yong) in this drama just like it had in "Kill It" ?
