I don’t know why any Chinese BL series would want to air for that long. Seems like a bad idea if the show gets too popular and noticeable.

You clearly didn’t understand the intention the drama was trying to convey. There is a reason why several thousand people rated the drama highly, it just wasn’t for you. But it not being for you, or something that you understood doesn’t mean the drama wasn’t a masterpiece.
