I think that the real problem is how they comment about the ML. If they don't like him,his appearance or other things about him, they can stop watching the drama and watch something else. I really like both leads and I'm very glad that the ML is older than the average ML. I don't know, I prefer older MLs, I find them more attractive and interesting in general than some twenty something-year-old kids who don't know how to properly portray a character... I don't want to generalise but normally older MLs are more experienced and they are much better actors than the younger ones. There are some exceptions, of course, there are some mind-blowing younger actors, but in this case he fits his character very well, also age-wise. And to all the people who criticize his physical appearance, personally I find him very handsome, but I think that his acting skills are more important than his beauty... I can think of a few of extremely handsome men that are so dull to watch and terrible actors...
I really liked the parallelism between the stray dogs being catched and Gu returning to his previous life. I think it was suffocating for him and it made him feel trapped like them. And the umbrella on the ground could be Mi Jeong? She was like a shelter for him, but now he's alone and vulnerable again...
