Dang! I've always known that Yan Shen wasn't the typical girl, but to threaten and blackmail? I didn't know she was THAT desperate.
But all that makes me like Cheng Rui Min's character even more teehee: he doesn't cave into pressure AND is willing to accept full responsibility (despite it being Yan Shen who made the move!)
Anyway, I should probably put off watching until winter break because I've got essays to write and homework to do lol. Do feel free to spoil though. I've just finished ep 30, and the other trailers look quite enticing!
I just read up on some chinese articles, and apparently FWX was indeed the murderer. He was homosexual (sites didn't really specify why FWX wanted ZY dead though) in the novel, something that has zero chance of making it past the censors. Now I'm really curious as to how the plot development will go...
OMG I read this spoiler before catching up to episode 28 but omg. I knew I had a suspicious feeling of that Feng…
The episode (28?) where JXO and FNY went to try on wedding dresses was kinda fishy as well. FWX didn't seem like a man who would be dishonest in any way, but now that it's proven been wrong, who knows what surprises he could give us?
Caught up to episode 22 and wow! It's still going pretty strong- though I feel like it lost some of its vigor…
Same! I feel like the whole situation isn't as straight-forward as it seems right now. Hopefully things don't take a dark turn... not that things aren't dark enough already!
I think calling her a “sex slave” is a bit harsh. That’s not what they are doing despite separating the…
This sums up the recent episodes really well! Honestly MingYi just needs to balance powers, and there really isn't anyone better for the job than YanYan. MingYi's love for her is important, but politics outweigh everything.
Ah I see! I've been waiting for the new trailers to come out too. I skimmed through the latest episodes, and they were really heartbreaking to watch T_T
Hopefully the bad times will be over soon. Within 10 eps maybe?
The most impressive older actress/younger character portrayal I've see was with Zhou Dongyu in Better Days. She pulled off the high schooler role exceptionally well, and she even mentioned during an awards ceremony that she'd be willing to play an elementary school student if it really comes to it. While $$$ is no doubt a crucial consideration, recognition for veteran actors is perhaps even more important. Even if the character in the script is much younger, as long as they believe they can pull it off (and not distract from the plot), they'll probably accept the role.
You just ignored the fact that Riley is Taiwanese huh? He's landed several roles as the ml, and there r also many…
Haha I'm well aware of that. Of course there's no clear-cut line. There are many, many non-mainland actors who land great roles. I'm just stating my observations, no need to get all riled up lol
but i'll still watch for yibo and his hotness ;)

Guess we'll find out next week!
And I definitely agree with the foreshadowing!
