I've to agree and I'm trying not to be biased. These two eps are so chaotic. It's jumping from one scene to another scene.

If Wen Xiao & ZYC were the ones who hides Ms. Qi, why does Pei Sijing came and saying that Ms. Qi is missing? Are they not telling her anything?

She was there because she was a goddess disciple (?). Her master was the goddess of Wilderness and she's the next goddess so she's not a genuine mortal. And about that pic, maybe before this current timeline she was a demon? Not sure yet.

Also, it was already mentioned (from the casts' character introduction in an interview) that Pei Sijing is the only mortal/human

Then, Wen Xiao said even if he's 42 yo he's still a child/nephew to her and Wen Xiao is his aunt

I like Chengxiao (Pei Sijing) and since she's a main role that's not the first Female Lead, for once, I don't have to worry about a drama ends up being a HE or SE.

If she was not part of the cast, I would have returned to be a main character supporter, I would have worried too much about the first FL & ML well-being 😭

There's only 3 eps out but so far this is a good drama, thrilling and yet there's enough comedy in it.
It's romance bxg but there's a little ambiguous (real) sismance and bromance that we called friendship

Can't wait to see the backstory of Pei Sijing!
