Aoki portrayal ruined it.
Aoki was a wholly unlikeable character. His own self-loathing was an excuse to hurt Ida over and over again. He does not communicate and blames for Ida not understanding. He makes up Ida's thoughts for him and then blames him for the wrong guesses. He makes Ida ashamed to want to be with him. Aoki is too selfish and it did not make sense for Ida to want to be back with someone that toxic. I hope the Thai version is better and does not force us to believe someone as hurtful and damaging to others as Aoki is ready to date anyone.
