Jiang is despicable. He's making all the same punchable faces he did as MingLan's dad. And CX's relationship with…
LOL when the dad was like "but your mom threatened to divorce me...", all I could think was "THEN DIVORCE HER!" She is like a cancerous tumor in their lives - she needs to be surgically removed.
F if I had a mother who was as much of a selfish asshole as CX's, I would have PTSD from being her daughter. I know that there is so much evil in this world so such a person could exist, but it makes me despair.
On the other hand, what the heck happened to CX's brain - did it get eaten by a dog? What kind of person is that dumb to just outright sue their own company? Like I get you feel bad for the passenger's family, but there are so many smarter ways to go about it. Whistleblowing is a real thing that happens in the business world, but a company of LZ airline's size would certainly have very careful and specific procedures in place in order to protect the whistleblower's identity so that the exact situation in this drama does not play out. Even if this drama wants to ignore realism and LZ airlines does not have such whistleblower procedures, from a legal perspective it is completely stupid to start this court case without having any hard evidence. If they at least waited until they found some real evidence, then at least they could be reasonably confident of winning the case in which case the company would not have any grounds to fire CX (though IRL a company may still lay you off for the trouble you caused, but we will pretend that this company is also highly moral XD). No matter how moral of a person they are, it is ridiculous that someone would willingly destroy their entire career (especially one they love so passionately) for the sake of some stranger, without even attempting to consider whether there are any other options to achieve this same goal without also ruining your own life. I used to like CX, but in this episode she has just become one of those awful Mary Sue characters who just blindly sacrifices herself because she is apparently some saint.
(1) Why the Father of dead passenger came with the lawyer to company?? they could just literally sue them...The…
1) basically they went straight to Jiang because they wanted him to pay them a bribe not to spread the word about what happened/not involve the company. That is what the lawyer was insinuating when he said he knew Jiang was running for VP and it wouldn't be good for his career if this got out. 2) they shot the video to stir up controversy on the internet and get internet crowds to take the father's side and slander the company. They want to put pressure on the company (so company is more likely to pay settlement to make the situation go away). 3) Jiang refused to pay the bribe, and he told them they should just follow the normal process and go through the company's lawyers. (Hence why they then went to make the video to give themselves leverage when negotiating settlement with the company)
I think he was being interviewed about sweet moments in the drama. He gave an example that one time CX was drunk and then GNT put her on the couch, and when he went to leave then CX grabbed his hand. Does not specify which episode
i think its so difficult for Chinese wriers to ever get this dynamic right - they always drag it instead of giving…
I agree, Chinese dramas have always been famous for being very draggy and "watered down" with lots of unnecessary plots - usually by preventing the leads from getting together through all types of tropes like noble idiocy, or third / fourth parties, or way too much time spent on side couples. I think it has improved somewhat, there seem to be more contemporary Cdramas in the 20-30 episode range now which tend to be faster paced, but Flight To You is definitely leaning into the old style and it is just sad. I wish they could have more aviation-focused stories if they really wanted to fill 39 episodes because those were actually very interesting and refreshing.
Yo same hahhaah, I need mental preparation (if they're still in the draggggggy stage) to watch today's episodes,…
Same! I really liked both leads so I wanted to watch for them, and the beginning episodes when it was more focused on aviation were not draggy so I felt hopeful. Now I realized my mistake; I should've known when I saw it was 39 episodes long for a contemporary drama, but I thought maybe they would fill it with aviation stories and not just drag out the relationship drama

Him in those aviators 😍😍 No wonder I fall for him :D
I'm a big WK fan (mainly from his Daylight Entertainment dramas) but I can't stand Stay with Me haha, its such a painful drama to watch because it is so unecessarily and unbearably draggy (not unlike FTY but maybe even worse).
These days I watch the previews for next day's episodes before I watch today's episodes so I can know whether…
Yo same hahhaah, I need mental preparation (if they're still in the draggggggy stage) to watch today's episodes, or decide to just keep waiting it out until they finally have some progress and then binge watch everything in one go.
It looks like things are going to blow up between GNT and NZ tomorrow
Lol well said! Unfortunately if drama characters all thought like you (i.e., literally how real life works), there would be no story and all our dramas would be over in like 1 conversation hahaha.
