I'm wondering what hype you are talking about? If anything this drama is so under rated that i'm surprised how well received it has been. Plus the first few episodes tend to be the foundation of a drama so I would say watch until ep 7 which is when most dramas actually pick up and you can tell if it is good or not. This one does get better imo but we all have different tastes.

I noticed there is an user going into every episode of triage and rating it 1 star and just talking nonsense. Saw their profile seems they enjoy rating things very low and sometimes their reasoning seems to be more contrarian than actually watching the material at hand. Some people are just plain weird .

Honestly no. For me i came in thinking it would be dark, gritty with a touch of romance, but so far it just feels like those slapstick Thai bls from the past. The chemistry is great, but if you are looking for a real good story about mafia underworld sadly this isnt it.

It is also much higher in men closer to the stats for women. The just don't report as much. There is a study called commercial sexual exploitation of children done in NY/NJ and some of the data talks about how high male sexual abuse is.

Perfection. This was such a treat. It has become one of my top dramas from Japan...along Cherry Magic and Don't say another word.

I've watched this about ten times now...it's unhealthy I know...but it's so good!

Difference is that Perth and Saint were part of a really horrible production company/management team and both have left those behind. Phuwin has been with GMM for years now and has acted in different types of drama, this was his lead role (not the one in my boy tee) and the kid playing Mork is a newbie who has done one other drama in GMM as well. I think GMM can really sell these two the same way they did with Krist and Singto. Right now GMM's only real BL couple are Off and Gun since the other actors are doing straight dramas. Krist, Bright and Win who are really popular aren't even doing anything BL related at all (even Newwie and Tay haven't done anything )...Singto has one BL drama coming out (which is more of a bromance) and the other actors have been doing side characters...so GMM needs to bank on these two to be frank if they want to keep their status.
