well, i strongly believe everyone has subjective tastes and what may be good taste to me is bad taste to you and vice versa, and that's completely valid. i adore vincenzo, and i can accept you don't like it. you can have your own tastes because we all have our own as different individuals.

it's valid for people to enjoy vincenzo even if you didn't, i'll respect your opinion that you didn't like it but please respect ours too :)

i didn't finish the show yet so im not opening this HAHAHA but i know what you're saying // they just announced a season two! that's why there's a cliffhanger :p

the 40 episodes have been combined into 20. the 40 is originally 30 minutes per episode. hence, 20 episodes of an hour is equivalent to 40 episodes of 30 minutes.

i agree. i was going through a really stressful point in my life when this drama came in and made me laugh so much while at the same time feel scared for the characters i loved so much, and helped me forget all my real life worries.

it really isn't a drama for everyone but it's one i really loved till this day, i really hope people will give it a chance despite the bad reviews.

that's what everyone thought when the drama started. this comment is a sign for you to continue it. the first few episodes can be highly dull, but as the story progresses, i guarantee you won't regret it. take my and every other review highly praising this drama's word for it :)

it really requires a lot of attention to detail and time to digest the information. do keep watching, im nearing the 7th and i truly find it highly detailed and engaging

is this worth watching? i heard the writing quality has been deteriorating and worsening :/

there's actually a conversation around episode 9 or 10 between her and hee hate, regarding how certain behaviours that put too much emphasis on seld righteousness comes off as hypocrisy. im not sure if you've seen it yet but it's good that the show attempted to tackle the idea as well.

i think either iu or shin hye sun would make a good fit for the female lead :)

i hope the brutal deaths won't be shown too clearly, but i think it'll be good to continue because i believe this drama will give a very accurate picture of gwangju and it's history with the uprising, so there is a lot to learn

i didn't like the female lead at the start either but to me now she's one of the most excellently written strong female characters - not only is she unafraid to be herself, but she also isn't afraid to be vulnerable when needed. to each their own, but i found that jeon yeo been did a phenomenal job in this.

there have never been many kdramas that are 45 minutes. most of them are an hour to an hour and a half long

yikes is it that violent :( i can't handle gore if it's to a very high extent

i didn't fully get into the first two episodes and became hooked in episode four, and now it's one of my absolute most favourite dramas. trust me, you won't regret continuing

she's no longer part of the production now, and the crew are looking to find a new female lead

you actually don't have to but the impact of watching this after finishing the main drama would make this more personal and interesting

i enjoyed this very much as it was a fun, lighthearted watch that made me smile and feel very much comforted - but i just don't like how the quality detariorated in the last two episodes which felt like filler episodes without substance when compared to the earlier episodes that were better written
