Tarn's "essence" does inhabit Tofu, but if Tofu were to look like Tarn it would mean there are two Tarns in the…
Tofu is already self-aware long before Tarn was in a coma. The tear from Nut is what gave Tofu an individuality, self-aware, and a "life'. As if he was born immediately that is why he has no recollection prior to his awakening. It is only when Tarn was in coma that he becomes human.

While Tarn is in coma, it is through Tofu, most likely the one that gave the teddy bear to Nut, that Tarn is able to "live" in the moment. Tarn being the person who gave Tofu makes sense because he is the human form which an echo of Tarn. In essence, Tofu is an extension of Tarn inaminate before then becomes human.

And yes, the only way for Tofu to remain human is for Tarn to die. I surmise that Tarn will wake up, then Tofu will go back in being a teddy bear, somehow Nut will find Tarn, get back together, then Tarn will be killed by thugs of the TRD or perhaps, like you suggests, Jan. And Jan will end up in jail. Saen will remarry Na. Everybody is happy.

Tarn needs to die in order for Tofu remains human.

By Episode 7, it is evident already that Tofu is the Tarn in the body of Neung that still cares and protects Nut from afar.

That is why Prib needs to tell Gen who is up in Chiang Mai. And later on will have a slip of the tongue to Nut and quickly find himself by Tarn's side.

With Tarn dying and in Buddhism harming a living is strictly forbidden, and Tarn will not take his own life. There are now 2 plausible scenario, he never wakes up and his physical body just gives up, OR, he regains consciousness and the corporation behind the deadly assault will finish Tarn for good. The latter will be a better route, story wise. Why? Tofu will go back to being a teddy bear. A sad Nut, may still try to rekindle his lost relationship with Tarn, they or they may not get back together. Gets killed by TRD. Poof! Tofu is human again! And a happy Nut again.

A person suffers from emotion-pyschological trauma, it induces: anger, mental breakdown that needs medical attention, and revenge by pulling others down. There's still hope for Nut, Mrs. Na is getting help, I feel like Jan will end in a looney bin.

One ending I can see here is:

What I think, so far:
What I am certain:
Tofu became human when Tarn falls into coma.

Tarn is Jan's nephew.

Questions remain:
Is Nut the son of Saen or Sibmuen?

Is it Tarn or Neung that give Tofu the Teddy Bear to Nut?

Why Neung is the the human manifestation of Tofu?

Or everything is happening in Nut's head as his mom is schizophrenic which can be inherited?

Interesting. How is this related to the one that has the same title where the setting is by the beach. Both Tae and Tee retains their character names.

"Toxic." lol Did you come up with that on your own? Could you please explain in what ways their relationship/love…
destructive. both to themselves and to others.

What I like about this series, there is no toxic ex-GF.

At first, I was kinda off with Saen, but eventually fall for him and his partner Ai, as a couple. The ideal relationship. Saen never hold back Ai's dream, and supports the latter through and through. It is already cute when he opened the door, but could need more of facial expression.

I'm kinda in the middle ground when it comes to Fa and Torn.

Dome and Vee is the most toxic, and their ending is good enough after what they went through.

Akk is right. It's Theo's parents who must tell him the truth, if they dedided not to, it's not Akk who has to…
Yup, it's not his story to tell. Well, at this point, we know how closed minded he is, so it is kinda expected.

I keep forgetting that the comments are full of negative reviews and here I am coming back every Friday to say…
The negativity spread like wildfire during the pandemic. Before that, you can read so little of negative things.

I'm not saing I want to, but... given all the possiblities in the world of this series, that is the most "logical" one.

I have this nagging feeling that Dan will die, for redemption. How? If I'm going to guess, he will block a bullet that will hit Sean.
