By now, it has been established that Pom is the one erasing people's memory. Or is it just memory that he can erase? Or is it possible that Pom's blood is what was used to synthesized the drug to remove a Gifted's potential? After all, the theory behind it could be the same: suppression.
Namtarn's potential. It was obvious that someone erased her memory after the incident in the warehouse. She used her own potential on herself essentially, negating Pom's effect on her. Now, if what was used on Korn and Mon is part of Pom, then, theoretically, Namtarn can restore their potentials back?
Also, Ohm's potential definitely leveled-up. He can not just make things disappear but can control it as well. To add, his potential is not only that he can turn things not to be seen or invisible, but somehow teleport it. To where? I still have no clue, maybe they are just suspended in a limbo but he can control it when he wants it to be back just like what they did, together with Pang, for the latter to hold Wave and tell him to stop the "operation" in Ep 10. If his potential is just make things invisible to the eye, then what the twins were eating, they should still feel it there. But they didn't. So it is not just visible to the eyes and it is also not physically there.
For Pang. I can't still categorically say that he can do mind control. For me, as of the moment, it seems that he can suggest or persuade for people to do whatever he says. BUT, it can develop into a full mind control. ====================================== Things I want to see...
Claire's potential is to see people's emotion through colors, it would be nice level up potential is for her to read other people's mind and not just color.
Punn's reflection. So it is now also established that the demon/bad side/war freak guy in him is also present in the real world and not just in his head? Then, a level-up of his potential can be similar to Hank McCoy/Beast of X-Men?
Namtarn can see what happened in the past may it be through an object or with herself. So it is possible that when her potential evolved, she can see the future as long as she is in it?
Wave's potential is with electronics. specifically, Data Communication. Then, scientifically, brain waves are electric charges, it will be awesome if he can communicate with other people through thoughts, or projecting himself in front of them?
IF Mon and Korn decides to have their potential back...
Mon, for now, I can see a cause and effect of her powers. She is excellent in fighting, however, her sweat makes people get "possessed" or angry. I can't really think of any level up for either of her potential.
Korn, is it possible that while he was away from his classmates, he was able to develop another potential that stemmed from not able to sleep? And not be able to sleep means that his body can "recharge" without resting, so that makes him immortal?
If you're the type of viewer that wants all the detail right away and upfront with little or no mystery at all; and doesn't want to speculate, you will definitely find this series messy and out of place numerous times and this is not for you.
But if you are a detective type viewer that will try to connect the dots, often times going back to previous episodes and patient enough until all the dots are connected, then this series is definitely for you.
Episode 8 clearly showed: - what really happened 3 years ago. - why Muad didn't recognize Tee when he tried to get his very first hair cut at the barbershop. - the relationship between Au and Bambi - why Mork went ballistic with the condom.
Interesting point, about the ads, the marshmallow ice cream. Coincidentally, all 3 what i've presumed flashbacks in Ep 2, 4 and 6 contains that product. Unless, it will have a significant role in what happened 3 years ago. And like other Thai BL series, they are notoriously known for showing their sponsors products during the episode, if this is the case for My Tee, it is definitely steering away to what has been done before and created a scene solely for the product and not in the middle of the episode but at the end.
In Ep 6, clearly, Tee is a newbie with the baton, when he threw it up and failed to catch it. Comparing to the opening scene in Ep 1, he was able to catch it confidently.
And as for the ring, I think it was overlooked. Not unless, they were already a couple before, 3 years ago.
When Mork is watching Tee practicing with his baton in a basketball court, then Tee teaches Mork how to swirl a baton, then Tee took the baton tried to toss it but failed to catch it, had the marshmallow ice cream, Tee tried to toss the baton again and was able to catch it and Mork seemed to be happier than Tee. Then the preview for the next episode follows. The series of scenes is totally unrelated to the episode.
I need to watch the Eng Sub episode. But what I understand from Ep 6, there's going to be a lot of first times and couple of second times. In addition, there's a scene that is somehow connected to Ep 2, but I'm still confuse on "How". Lastly, it seems that my theory is holding up, after the black and white photo is the flashbacks for the even number episodes, 6 being an even number, hence, a flashback. However, the black and white photo in this episode only shows Mork.
omg you literally described this series in 6 words and you're totally right!!
Let me give some insights. And you can take this with a grain of salt.
The author of the novel where this series is adapted from is actually the write for this series. In addition, that novel is unfinished and there was a claimed that before the series was aired, the author, @Caffeinedekd, actually published the ending on Twitter and how it ends, let's just say, heartbreaking. But it was deleted eventually. In short, the author/writer has a full control over the series.
You can treat this series like a jigsaw puzzle. Scattered and doesn't make sense when you lay down all the pieces. But what is the trick in a jigsaw puzzle? Look for the 4 corners first since they are the ones with 2 flat sides and make your way from them.
One corner I can think of is the revelation at the end of Ep 1 that they indeed know each other back then. Another piece that is connected to that is the very first attempt of Mork to touch Tee's private, which we all know that didn't ended so well. The confusing piece is the flashback after the episode, when they have a marshmallow ice cream on a bridge, was it before or after Mork's attempt to touch Tee? And why I was able to say it was flashback, since Ep 2, what signal the end of the episode is when a black and white photo of Tee and Mork are shown and after that is the flash back. So far, only Ep 2 & 4 has that. For Ep 1,3 & 5 it goes directly to the preview of the next episode.
Another clue to the puzzle, Tee is allergic to shrimp or seafoods. In Episode 2, when Tee caught Mork eating at the cantee and Mork choked, he went to get a drink and when Mork got back, he has another plate and drink for Tee. Tee push aside the shrimp in his plate. 2nd instance, when the two of them are eating noodles, Tee ordered a "thick rice noodles, no pork blood, no shrimp balls also no squid or octopus. Episode 3, when Tee was in Mork's room and said I wanted to eat rice congee but Mork cooked a pork and prawn congee. Tee eventually said that Mork that have that instead. Is this allergy is somehow connected to when Mork collapse when he was leading the marching band? I guess we need to wait for the Saturday in their time line.
Back in Episode 2 again, when Mork tried to call Bambi and Tee's another phone rang, Tee closed the zipper of his bag so it wouldn't make a noise. In the very same episode, a certain "Bambi" called Mork. The question now becomes, who is the one that called Mork that pretend to be Bambi? For that, I still haven't found any connection in Ep 3-5. Or I just didn't notice it.
This could be the other corner of the puzzle. Remember when Mork is introducing his family. He said that he took from his mom and Morn from the dad. And the preview for Episode 6, it shows a very young Mork and when the mom (presummably) asked Mork "Why are you mad at Daddy Moo, today." Young Mork answered, "Mork don't like Moo. Moo only takes care of Morn." It is now possible that Moo is not Mork biological father. Well, that is for now a speculation. And perhaps that could also be the reason why Moo didn't recognize Tee when he first entered the barbershop. At first I thought it was a Superman effect like when Yo started to use contact lens and Pha wasn't able to recognize him from 2 Moons. To add to the speculation, though it hasn't been establish yet when Mork's mom died, right? How that will come into play? The only way that I can think of, provided that Moo is not Mork's biological dad, is that between the young Mork and 3 years ago, Mork and his mom is living separately from Moo and Morn. And only after the 3 years ago that Mork's mom died and in turn would explain why Moo didn't recognize Tee for the first time he visited the barbershop.
Towards the end of Ep 5, Bambi wants to talk to Tee knowing that Tee and Mork are in a "ship" the time when Mork talked to Bambi in the market. Does Bambi want to be in a "ship" with Tee again? Possible. However, remember the time when Bambi was constantly walking ahead of Ching until Bambi crossed the street and Ching wonder "What's up with her?" and Bambi knows Ching is into girls too. Is it possible that Bambi wants to know how Tee and Mork be as such?
For the unoffical subbers, most of the time they deliberately make mistakes to trap others if they decided to create a video on their own and claim it as if they subbed it themselves. It is like signature, a trademark for the subbers. But it will eventually up to you which one you will watch.
My take on this series is that you need to take note of the small details, most of the time it can be irrelevant for that time, that is somehow connected to the latter part of the series. I'm guessing that the author/writer doesn't want to spoonfeed the audience by giving all the details upfront and wants the audience to think and in the process get hooked by confusing and giving little answers and more questions. Hopefully though, the puzzle will be complete when the series ends.
Finally, I can categorize this series as a Romance-Mystery.
Okay I mean this series is cute with lovey dovey and all but I'am so confused with how I feel for this series.…
Lemme try to answer your questions,
why did Tee react the way he did when Mork asked him to come with him to the canteen early in the morning? ---> When did Tee agreed to come with Mork? After Mork said: "You know me very well. That I'm not interested in anyone else." And you can see after that line, a little but noticeable smile from Tee. It is possible that he just want Tee just want to be with Mork all by himself and being in a school, Mork might look to others thus making Tee jealous and hurt. That is my speculation though.
Did they have sex? Like wtf? Wasn't Tee not okay with sex? ---> Then you answered your own question. They didn't have sex because Tee is not okay with it. In addition, Mork already tried twice, the first one was 3 years ago and the second one is the test after he forcibly let Tee watch, I guess a porn, and didn't get a hard-on. I think Mork will not take the first move too since that could strain again their rekindle "ship". Though, I wasn't shown if Tee's sheet were creased or not. LOL
And trust me, you're not the only one who wants to get a glimpse if they really went down and dirt.
Yes, at most they been together again for a week. Obviously, Tee is still cleaning toilets. And that reinforces the fact that they had something going on 3 years ago and they just picked up from where they left off.
This is what I noticed from Episode 1 to 5.If you check starting Ep 2, towards the end of this episode, pictures…
Here's what I know, the novel where this series adopted from was discontinued several years ago. I'm not sure if after the author agreed to make the novel into a series or before, on Twitter posted the ending of the novel. Unfortunately, it was delete few days after.
The good news though, is the author of the novel is also the writer for this series.
With those things said, the ending can be anything, the author/writer can change to ending in any way suits the story. The author's Twitter account: @ Caffeinedekd
