I'm a person who absolutely despise silly stupid antic plots in drama, and to me episode 1-4 is just meh but i stayed on for the leads and omg it was the best decision ever. From episode 5 onwards it just gets better and better and i'm absolutely hooked all the way, especially when it gets steamy hot and serious! I actually signed up my first Youku svip for LITC and never regretted one bit <3

Exactly, everyone is entitled to their own opinion but what pisses me off is them coming over to TFF and keep trying to bring VM into this. VM stays in HL and should stay there. We don't need to keep hearing VM being mentioned in every comment they wrote.

Coming over to TFF and keep saying Victor Ma this and that, I'm torn it's not VM that was casted, I love TFF but it's still not VM so boo boo, VM VM VM bla bla in a TFF page. What's there even to compare when Victor Ma's SY = sister pov, BJT's SY = the real SY. They both portray different sides of SY. So there, I've answered your question. BJT fits this role perfectly and Victor Ma's SY should stay as it is in HL.

Go back to Hidden Love, don't come here and rant about it not being Victor Ma. BJT fits SY's role perfectly.

When I watched HL I felt Victor Ma's portrayal of SY not the real SY because he was too high energy, understandable since it was from his sister's pov. The real SY is perfectly portrayed by BJT here and it reflects his much deeper and complex character. So no, Victor Ma will not be able to bring out the emotions that BJT brought in this drama. It's not even a sequel. People should stop bringing Victor Ma into this comparison again and again.

I'm an avid novel reader for years and have always loved TFF a little more than HL, even before both dramas were aired. I guess it's because of the complexities of both ML and FL and the whole vibe just hits the spot. Glad TFF did the novel justice.
