Can you tell me please why the novel wracked you, broke you into pieces? It sounds like it is a very heavy and…
I actually don't wanna spoil anything, so I really recommend you give the novel a try. The story dives into heavy themes relate to SA. Other thing that makes it heartbreaking is how the two main characters end up hurting each other. But honestly, what bothered me the most was how the author portrayed Genlong. Her character in the novel felt pretty toxic to me, especially in the epilogue, which, in my opinion, was totally unnecessary.
After watching the series, tho,I was relieved to see some parts were changed for the better. I really hope they leave out the toxic parts of Genlong in the series, it would make the story so much better.

I read the novel, and honestly, it wrecked me, it broke me into pieces. I know some people (or maybe most) want the series to stay like the novel, but personally I prefer it lighter. The novel already broke me enough, I just want the series to be less heavy so it doesn't hurt as much.

The series honestly set the bar way higher for Thai GL series for me. I usually cringe at some Thai GL series, but not this one. The acting from both main leads ( Oaey and Grace) was spot on, so natural. and perfectly fit the characters. I really hope they get paired together in more projects or series because they're such a great match!
