That is explained - the miracle drug that her shifu used to keep her alive was also in her fetus - the shifu figured that out due to the very fact it managed to survive a war and HeJiuLing's abuse of her own body to get a cure for RongYu. So the shifu basically used the miracle PipaZui in the baby to cure HeJiuLing.
I'm just mad they had to write a 5-6 year separation into the end - just LET HIM IN to hold her hand and witness his child, and let that be their reunion, and then show them 5 years later - is that so hard? Sheesh...
Please note: the synopsis for this show is incorrect. Shu Cheng is not "pretending to be a guy" - the story is set in a fictional version of Chu nation that is a matriarchal society. The emperor is female and her courtiers are all women. FL Shu Cheng is the heir of the most powerful court official and has to pretend to be a ne'er-do-well in order to avoid negative attention, and has been the target of many assassinations.
The plot is a mess, the choreography is very amateurish, the only thing that keeps me watching is the ML and his chemistry with the FL...
