writers must have been on some sort of drugs when writing the last 2 eps. at least it’s a happy ending. i’m lowkey disappointed Hee Joo didn’t end up being a news reporter though…
i loved this drama and i really liked the pacing!! since it's 12 eps, there weren't any filler or draggy eps.
the ending was a 9/10 for me tbh. -1 pt because i feel like Jin Woong was forgiven too easily for tolerating the abuse and neglect that Yi Ju was going through.
since it's a makjang, i thought Do Guk's family was going to treat Yi Ju like sh*t and treat her like other kdrama in-laws would. but they saw right through Yu Ra's and Jung Hye's act 🤣!! i loved his family (except for jung wook ofc).
