K-Drama From a Potential Masterpiece to a One-Time Watch
To be honest, the beginning was quite slow, to the point where I started thinking the trailer was all hype. But I kept watching because of Zo In Sung. He's a huge star, and I'm glad I gave the movie a chance.
The alien invasion concept felt so refreshing for Korean cinema, and I genuinely enjoyed the movie. It could have easily been a 9/10 for me.
But the moment they decided to do THAT to Koo Seong Gi's character, everything fell apart. I honestly couldn't bring myself to keep watching. What a stupid and unnecessary way to write such a character out of the story!
That single decision completely ruined the movie's rewatch value for me. What could have been a movie I'd happily watch again became a one-time experience.
**My first and last watch, all because of that ridiculously disappointing ending.** Such wasted potential!
