Low Budget, High Chemistry, and Endless Butterflies

This is my first time seeing a couple share so many kissing scenes in just 12 hours, and honestly, every single one of them felt so natural!

Xin Xu's character at the beginning was really something else. He was sooo hot, giving off those perfect bad-boy vibes while falling hopelessly in love with the innocent Non Yu. To be honest, their dynamic reminded me so much of the Omegaverse yaoi manga I usually read, especially with Yin and Ren's dresses and the way their relationship developed. There was something so sweet and comforting about watching them care for each other, and their chemistry felt incredibly genuine.

I do wish the middle part had fewer filler scenes and gave more screen time to Si Yuan and Li Xang, because those two were absolutely adorable! Usually, I tend to prefer the main couple since they naturally get most of the screen time, but this time I have to admit that the second couple completely stole the show with their chemistry. I genuinely couldn't get enough of them!

Unfortunately, the ending wasn't entirely satisfying. Still, I appreciate how the writers tried to give viewers some closure by bringing them back together, even though there was no logical explanation for how they could return to the same timeline. Then again, there's hardly anything logical about this story in the first place, so why should the ending be any different? 😂

Despite that, I was extremely satisfied with the overall experience. The romance was lovely, the story was cute and easy to follow, and the relationships were genuinely enjoyable to watch. Yes, it's clearly a low-budget series, but I have to give them credit for making the most of what they had. The actors delivered such natural chemistry that it was easy to overlook the production's limitations.

I watched every episode until the very end, and I don't regret a single moment. It might not be a perfect series, but it certainly knew how to make me smile, give me butterflies, and keep me emotionally invested in both couples. Sometimes, that's more than enough to make a romance worth watching!
