The only thing that made this series somewhat interesting and watchable was Lee Jae Wook's incredible performance as Byeon Hyeok Jun. Especially in the beginning, when his character was constantly terrified of everything happening around him, the way he portrayed that fear and vulnerability was easily the highlight of the entire show.
Unfortunately, I think everything started falling apart around episode 5. The series had a genuinely promising concept, but the writers simply failed to develop it properly. What could have been something really exciting gradually turned into something rather disappointing.
If there happens to be a second season, I'm not even sure whether I'd be excited to watch it. There just wasn't enough to make me look forward to more.
Overall, it's a one-time watch. Nothing particularly special, and definitely not something I'd feel the need to revisit.
