so how old is the younger one meant to be? cause he acts like a 14 year old and it makes the older/younger teacher-student dynamic less enjoyable because it's like what is attractive about dating a kid that throws tantrums unless you're also.. a kid.. but you're not.. so.. how do you not get a reality check when he acts like that
some of you are a little concerning in the comments. the people who don't think the teacher is a little odd are showing that you're not that perceptive. this is why grooming can work so well because every little thing can be chalked up to "it's all in your head, he hasn't done anything yet". some of y'all really wait for the worst to happen to recognise something rather than evaluating the first few red flags
a more obvious red flag is his reaction to walking in on doha and main character sitting on each other's lap
I think you´re exaggerating a bit. Up to this point the only thing the teacher has done is to listen his student…
like the other user said, predatory behaviour isn't so cartoonishly in your face. it starts with the little things. you mentioned the teacher from smells like green spirit. you only say that because of what eventually happened in later episodes. it seems like you're waiting for that type of scene with this teacher to then finally acknowledge he's weird
it's all about the build up. this is both how & why people get groomed in the first place. since every word and action has plausible deniability, if someone ever brings it up, it can be easily dismissed as you're reading too much into it, or "it's all in your mind" literally like you're saying now..
you brought up college, but that's an irrelevant example cause you're already over 18 when you're in college. this is set in high school, where he's a minor..
there really shouldn't be any unsupervised extracurricular activities going on between a high school student and their teacher in general. putting aside the sus things he's said/done, even the basics are there
any theories as to why hagiwara said his first time was confidential? my understanding from that was to show how overconsiderate he is, and partly how he ended up in such predicament with kaori in the first place.. but i wondered if others took something else from that scene?
he did not just smile in that scene. he looked uncomfortable, eyes shifting and almost disappointed
if he wasn’t meant to convey those emotions, then that’s on the directing/acting, or something they’ve changed
