IKR Most of the adaptations have a female actor Playing the role of Nezha; just ruin my image of the legend I…
Thank you for the Wikipedia link.
Recently, I have been immersed in reading Wuxia and xianxia novels online, and have not a chance to start any new drama series. In case if you're interested, I recommend Nine Heavenly Thunder Manual and Strongest Abandoned Son.
Another reason that I put off seeing this series is due to involving another mythical figure Xiao Long Nu, one of my favorite heroine. Though these are all fictional heroes, It just feels wrong to me as if today producers are rewriting historical figures while disregarding the original creators of these protagonists.
To me Xiao Long Nu minds only Yang Guo while disconcerting the norms of wulin in her taboo relationship with her pupil. However, I am concerned of this story that teams up Ne Zha and Xiao Long Nu on an adventure. This is totally changing the character of the Ancient Tomb Sect's Xiao Long Nu who is elegant but cold and indifferent. Also, Xiao Long Nu has always cultivated in seclusion; she's not have experience in jianghu.
These are very different NeZha and Xiao Long Nu from the heroes of my memory. IDK, should I embrace the changes!?
I hope Where Your Eyes Linger does well being a stepping stone for future Korean BL dramas. It would be awesome to see many adaptations of the numerous Korean BL novels, webtoons, and mangas that I've read online. Below are a few links for those who like reading BL/yaoi/manhua.
He publically admitted to being in a 7 year relationship with a minor (I saw something saying they were 13-15…
Well that's ashamed. But others have worked hard on this BL and deserved to debut their performances. I understand that a pedophile is attracted to children. And also, offenders are those who prey on children and molest them harming both the victims and their families. As for not denying his 7 year relationship with a minor, was there charges against him!? Was he abusing, tormenting, molesting or whatever to the girl? Lastly, isn't Twitter a social media for gossip. Where's the headline for this crime!?
I am glad that this is an adaptation based on a bl novel written by a male author, Patrick Rangsimant. I relate with the characters in this novel b/c they were created from a gay author's point of view. I hope that the production team of this series do well to deliver the romance from the novel. Looking fwd to the development of the MLs starting as strangers to acquaintances to friends then to boyfriends. At the end of the novel, it has noted that there's a follow up novel "My Man, I Love You." Yay! I hope this series does well enough to have a sequel (I'm not sure if it should be a second season. A sequel is more reasonable b/c there will be including new couples).
Yo, what? Is it now officially a thing that Japan does BL with actually known actors and not just actors you only…
In my opinion, Japanese actors are versatile professionals. So far, I've not seen a JP BL that makes me cringe. I even enjoy their gender-bender dramas or their cross-dressing comedies.
I want more of him after watching him recently in My Friendship and in last year's NightTime. I've also seen him in Key Love: The Series playing a comic character, support role. He is a versatile actor. Love him.
I'm here looking him up right after viewing his performance in My Friendship as Bank on YouTube https://youtu.be/NuPmNXZFGeQ. I was so emotional, as my heart ache for the boys. I've seen him in Key Love: The Series which is also good. But he as Bank just makes me want to see more of him.
I recently came upon this and watched it on KissAsian in 2020. Surprisingly, I like it even after seeing that the actors appear a bit older to be playing high school students.. The only thing I don't get is the title. This is my first love triangle that does not disappoint me with the second lead syndrome. Both guys and the girl equally stole my heart. It's hard for me to choose which guy to fall for, but the story unfold perfectly for my taste. Warning! the latter part of this drama is a tearjerker so I recommend viewing this with a box of tissue.
Not much info on this upcoming drama yet. But I'm interested in Marcus Li's lead role since I fell in love with his A Li character in Fairyland Lovers (2020).
