Finally watched this in 2019 after so many years staying in the queue of my plan-to-watch list. And I love it! Great chemistry between leads. Lovable characters including the supporting cast. Good story. Fun script. A light rom-com w/a bit of spook.
I've not read the novel. Whether it be dark or light version of the original story, I still appreciate the courage of this production company has in bringing us an adaptation though fictional but closer to reality. This is my personal preference. There's plenty to sugar coated BL series already. For once, i like to enjoy something out of the ordinary. So far, this first episode is good, so intense. Kudos to the direction and the talent actor.
I enjoyed seeing his role in S.C.I. (2018). Recently watching The King's Avatar, he's the best Shao Tian. It's funny that I have to pause and replay his character's babble (it's like rapid bullets going off a machine gun; too fast for me to catch his lines) which also make me wonder there must be many hilarious NGs while filming his scenes.
Kwel!!! So glad I accidentally found this. At first I was attracted to the gorgeous men on the poster. While watch the 1st episode, I found it very familiar to something I've seen before. I turns out to be an adaptation of one my favorite yaoi "Mo Dao Zu Shi". Disapointedly, it was not a BL theme animation, but the bromance is heavily consist with the flirting (lookup Mo Dao Zu Shi fanfic and illustrations). Anyhoo, I like it and looking fwd to this complete adaptation.
I just finished the final 2 episodes that just got released. This has become my second best period drama series after Nirvana in Fire (2015). Beside it's a great production (acting talents, music score, period costumes, directions, etc.), it also has the most comprehensive story line that will not disappoint viewers. I recommend "be patient" while watching from beginning to the end in order to see the schematic plot of good and evil unveiled, no question left unanswered, and no cliffhanger.

5 raw episodes are available on YouTube. https://youtu.be/FG1D9vHUN3Q I got the gist of the story w/o English translation. Yes, I enjoyed all 5 episodes. It's not hard to grasp.
5 of 8 episodes already...and this has been excellent since the 1st ep. It just got better and better with each succeeding ep. b/c not only the story-line is well written, the acting is the best from these young talents. I'm looking fwd to the 3 remaining episodes that will satisfactorily solve the mystery and wrap up the love/friendship story.
04/26/2019 just watched the final episode. Whenever Than (Ohm) shed tears, I cried along. This series each episode exceed better than the previous, and it has the best and most satisfying ending. It's the best Thai BL series by far.

Thanks for the link. Personally, I'm glad that it has Vietnamese sub. Though, for a 40 min. episode, it has so many commercial breaks (seems like every 3 min.)
