XY and AG are not the same person. They are twins but during the war XY sacrificed his spirit/soul to seal Minqi. When XY spirit shattered, some of it is with Minqi (because XY is the one who sealed it) and the rest is shattered around the world. That's why XY is in AG body, because AG collected his spirit and put it in his body just because XY couldn't form a new body.
