I believe that Ji Ling (or Chi Wen) is actually Yuan Wuhuo's little brother Yuan Xizai. I think he got a bit jealous or thought that it was unfair that Ji Ling became the Dragon Deity. Another possible reason is that Yuan Wuhuo collaborates with Jiu Ying because he wants his little brother, Ji Ling, to come back to him. That's also the reason why he stayed with Ji Ling and took care of him and saw him grow up in "his past life" before he died.
In episode 16 I believe, when the Star stone was about to explode and Li Jie went towards Tian Di, we could see a flashback where Ji Ling was in his (Li Jie's) place. Either way, it will most likely be a sad ending because of this forbidden love between Ji Ling and Lu Wuyi, especially since she probably is Jiu Ying and one of them has to die 😭😭

Here are my thoughts:
Right after the accident, he couldn’t really use sign language to express his feelings and thoughts. Being deaf was new to him and when his grandma came she wouldn’t understand him if he didn’t speak. He also spoke because he didn’t want his grandma to worry, but also because she didn’t know at first that he would lose his hearing (it only got confirmed when he didn't answer her question).
I also believe that IC said in the last episode that he didn’t want to or dared to make sounds after the accident, probably because he was scared (of the feeling of not being able to hear his own voice).
Both QT and QC is starting to get on my nerves. Can’t she see what QC is trying to do? I get that she is trying to save her brother, but I would like to see her reprimand him and make him feel guilty or something 😩
I don't know if I remember it incorrectly, but didn't WQHY catch his cousin QJT in "Love in Pavillion" doing evil things? I can't find the actor who played his cousin and I don't remember it whether or not he was in "Love in Pavillion"?

It had so much potential in the beginning and I thought that it would get better by episode 31, but boy I was wrong.
