According to a KBS broadcasting official on the 25th, Bae Jung-hwa has confirmed her appearance in the upcoming historical drama “Munmu”, scheduled to air at the end of this year. In the drama, Bae Jung-hwa will play Kim Moon-hee, the wife of Kim Chun-chu (played by Kim Kang-woo). A drama official stated that Bae Jung-hwa has already joined the filming set and begun shooting.
“Munmu” officially began production after a press conference last year. Filming also included locations in Mongolia. After filming through all four seasons, the drama is set to be released at the end of this year.
According to an exclusive report by IZE on the 25th, Lee Jong-won has been cast as the lead character, Lee Dae-hee, in the drama Love Affair. Filming will begin early next month.
Lee Jong-won plays Lee Dae-hee, the lover of Gong Hu-gyeong (played by Jeon So-ni). Gong Hu-gyeong falls into a dangerous, forbidden love with Kim Ji-hoon (played by Lee Dong-wook), unable to resist the irresistible attraction. Lee Jong-won will portray the tension and emotional turmoil as his previously peaceful relationship with Gong Hu-gyeong begins to crack, adding dramatic intensity to the passionate melodrama.
It seems like everyone stakes their entire life on the belief that “I am a decent human being.” Whether in terms of character, appearance, or wealth, there’s this desire—no matter the form—to be “good enough.”
And if one can’t prove it by being successful, there’s this obsession with becoming special, even if it means falling apart. But that claim is always frustrated, never quite working out. Is there anyone who doesn’t struggle against their own sense of worthlessness in that way?
Even though I’m no different, I still can’t help but hate those who flail about so noisily just to cover up their own sense of worthlessness. I know full well that if I can’t embrace such people, I won’t be able to embrace myself either — and yet, my hatred toward them refuses to stop.
Here is a person who, surrounded by successful friends, is the only one falling behind, driven nearly mad by jealousy and envy. And there are friends who can’t stand the sight of him.
This is a story about a person who grits his teeth and tries to overcome his sense of worthlessness — and about others who, gritting their teeth as well, try to embrace him nonetheless.
