On Naui Cheotbeonjjae Joreopsik Apr 8, 2026
the film officially began shooting on the 8th

Kim Jae-won takes on the role of the mysterious transfer student Goo Do-ha. Previously loved as the “icon of first love,” he is set to undergo a striking transformation by portraying an unreadable psychopath. He shared, “From the moment I read the script, I was so captivated by its charm that I couldn’t wait to start filming.”

Jung Soo-bin plays Chae Do-young, the high school student who plots her own accidental death. She is expected to deliver a layered portrayal of a teenage girl who conceals a complex inner world behind her quirky and lively exterior. Jung commented, “I will do my best to fully convey the innocent, fluttering emotions of young love,” expressing her strong determination.

A strong supporting cast further elevates the film. Park Ho-san and Heo Joon-seok will play the fathers of Do-young and Do-ha, respectively, grounding the story, while Lee Joo-young joins as Soo-ah, Do-young’s soulmate, bringing added energy and vibrancy to the narrative.

Choi Hyun Wook and Jung Chae Yeon are set to team up in a romantic comedy.

Both Choi Hyun Wook and Jung Chae Yeon’s agencies said that they’re positively reviewing the offers.

Choi Hyun Wook has been offered the role of Han Tae Yang, a former high school baseball player. As a former baseball athlete himself, Choi Hyun Wook was a pitcher on the winning team of the 2017 National Junior High School Baseball Championship, but he quit baseball following an injury in the first year of high school, so he is expected to bring a strong sense of realism to the character with a high level of synchronicity.

Jung Chae Yeon has been offered the role of Song Ji U.

Meanwhile, reports have suggested that Green Light is scheduled to air on ENA in 2027. However, an ENA representative told Star News, “Next year’s drama lineup has not yet been finalized,” adding, “The scheduling of Green Light has also not been confirmed.”

On Flex X Cop Season 2 Apr 7, 2026
more details about ‘Flex X Cop 2’ have been revealed in an article

Difficult or heavy—that’s the tone people usually associate with investigative dramas. But Flex X Cop 2 continues the light, upbeat, and comedic vibe of its previous season.

When an investigation hits a dead end, is it better to return to square one and dig again? That’s not Jin I-soo’s (Ahn Bo-hyun) style. Instead, he looks for the most effective way to spend money to break through. Whether it’s launching an SNS event with a luxury watch as bait to find a missing person, or using an ultra-exclusive membership to freely access a hotel without a warrant—these are the signature methods of Jin I-soo, a third-generation chaebol of Hansu Group.

The biggest change in Season 2 is the arrival of a new team leader, Joo Hye-ra, of the Gangha Police Major Crimes Unit 1. She is none other than the “demon instructor” who once kept Jin I-soo in line during his days at the police academy—now returning as his direct superior. Constantly looking at him with disapproval, she is portrayed by actress Jung Eun-chae, whose firm voice and lingering presence leave a strong impression.

What begins as a tense, antagonistic relationship gradually evolves, episode by episode, into one of the most reliable partnerships. The greatest charm of the Flex X Cop series lies in its unpredictably extravagant “flex.” Watching its flashy, luxurious, and unconventional problem-solving methods—so different from standard investigative approaches—will once again be a key highlight of Season 2.

more details about ‘Nightmare’ have been revealed in an article

If justice does not exist in reality, it will be realized in dreams. This is the motto of Nightmare. The tool that makes this possible is none other than artificial intelligence. By using an AI called “Sandman,” capable of accessing the unconscious minds of others and creating another kind of prison, even criminals who have escaped the law can be subjected to punishment that binds them hand and foot. Carrying out this virtual—yet vividly real—revenge are Detective Tae-i (Kim Nam-gil) and Gyu-eun (Lee You-mi).

Tae-i has spent years working undercover, crossing the boundary between good and evil. Even so, he has held onto his belief in suppressing evil with good. Beneath his easygoing demeanor, he conceals deep anger, preparing for the day he will confront those who once destroyed his life. Sensing this, Gyu-eun—a police officer specializing in victim support and a psychology major—stands by his side. Though she appears quiet and timid on the outside, she has always strived to understand the true feelings of others. She, too, harbors a secret: she knows how to freely control the mysterious AI known as Sandman.

How Gyu-eun came to possess Sandman, and how Tae-i ended up joining forces with her, will be quickly unraveled in the drama’s fast-paced opening. From there, Nightmare charges forward toward a chilling tale of revenge.

Filming is set to begin in May 2026, with the series scheduled to air in the first half of 2027.

more details about ‘Awakening’ have been revealed in an article

The devil lives in Daechi-dong. Awakening takes aim at the heart of Korea’s ever-intensifying college entrance exam pressure cooker. In their pursuit of high assessment scores and impressive academic achievements, students at Seongryeong High School collectively fall addicted to a so-called “awakening drug” possessed by evil spirits. The curse of the demon does not stop at consuming the students—it extends to the adults who are meant to protect them from making misguided choices.

Roughly speaking, Awakening can be described as a story like Clarice Starling from The Silence of the Lambs entering the world of Weapon. However, instead of a CIA investigator uncovering the truth behind the curse, it is Father Antonio (Lee Jun-hyuk), an exorcist priest of the Roman Catholic Church, who takes on the task. Armed not with guns and instinct, but with holy oil and divine will, he sets out to confront and drive out the evil spirits.

The production team behind Awakening is working closely with the Archdiocese of Seoul of the Catholic Church. From Father Antonio’s identity as a priest to the various rules that make up Catholic doctrine, the profound world of Catholicism will be portrayed in meticulous detail—without sacrificing entertainment value—more thoroughly than in any drama before it. At the center of it all stands Lee Jun-hyuk, embodying an ascetic priest clad in a Roman collar and cassock, reciting Latin prayers.

Filming is currently underway across the country, with the series set to premiere in the first half of 2027.

On Doctor X Apr 7, 2026
Title Doctor X
More details about the synopsis of Doctor X, starring Kim Jiwon, have been revealed in a recent article.

If you have ever faced an unfair or sorrowful situation in a hospital, *Doctor X: The Era of the White Mafia* will offer gentle comfort and a satisfying sense of catharsis (despite the weight of the medical noir genre). Doctor Gye Su-jeong, who begins her medical career at Guseo University Medical School, points out the problems of the older generation, who have gradually become tainted by corruption and accustomed to the closed nature of their groups. Unlike doctors in the media who have appealed with images of righteousness or kindness, *Doctor X: The Era of the White Mafia* stands upon problematic situations that many people are already familiar with or have experienced in reality. Nevertheless, the fact that it adds dimensionality through distinct gradations for each character, rather than simply dividing them into good and evil or black and white, makes it exceptionally realistic. In particular, the chemistry between Kim Ji-won and Lee Jung-eun, who fit together like puzzle pieces, is the biggest point of anticipation for this work. Kim Ji-won takes on the role of the cool-headed Gye Su-jeong, while Lee Jung-eun plays the warm-hearted helper Hee-sook. How will a woman who charges forward in a straight line and a woman who embraces many things in a curved manner become pillars of support for each other? A vague yet firm anticipation arises that many changes may occur as the drama is released and airs.
