Here we go, can't wait to hear people say it's haters rating this drama when the issue itself is the plot/acting/execution/direction/collaboration between cast, directors & production team

You cannot just pin point one thing that went wrong, it's all of the above plus many other stuff not mentioned. It's a boring storyline period. I watched the shortened versions of the episodes and even struggled with that

Eternal Love is what made her & Dileriba the stars they are today. Over 7 billion views. It changed the careers of all involved in it. It's hard to replicate that brilliance

Yang Mi & Gong Jun are good just in other dramas with other leads. I can't think of any top actor or actress that doesn't have any dramas that have flopped. Just how it is

People I have watched few weeks back the Anime & have watched the shortened version of this drama. I encourage you to watch the anime as this drama has really not stuck to the fundamentals of the story and has really done its own thing.

The anime is so easy to understand & doesn't take that long, each ep takes like 12 minutes. I already have idea what next 2 installments are about. I think this drama may have possibly tarnished the next 2 installments. I think actors need to learn to stop getting into these dream team casts and just do a drama with right cast with a good script & production team. I kind of found it super embarrassing a mature cast of people in their 30's playing characters that are suppose to be teenagers. I think the fans out the anime would of rejected it.

When do you even see an entire rating a 4 especially when most people here either rate things a 10 or a 1?

You should feed this back to the moderators as it gives people the option to drop a drama & give it a rating. If tomorrow the site says not allowed to drop & rate then I will stick with that ruling

You have rated dramas extremely high yourself which I don't agree but what do you expect from me? Call you stupid or say I find your list hilarious? People have different tastes

I have watched the shorter episodes of this drama upto 30ep & even shortened version still struggling with it. Many people are. Just people have different opinions. Not hard to understand that

Burning Flames has received good reviews. It's subjective though. You rated Immortal Samsara a 10 but again your opinion which won't judge you on. There you go maybe did overate a drama probably should be more on the 8.5 category

I agree. 1 is too harsh at times to rate a drama.
I have given it a 4 only because personally don't think it should be at the higher end of the scale but 1 -3 it doesn't deserve to be that low especially after watching a good 9 episodes

I think drama rating should be between 7.7-8.1 which currently where it is sitting
To much of 1's and too much of 10's really do spoil the ratings to it's true reflection

That's not what I mean. If dramas are flops, this one & next one then why would people tune into final instalment

Yes maybe centuries old but looks still very young. They look like kids which can google yourself. Just think maybe younger cast with say 30 episodes for all 3 chapters would be sufficient

That's what it should have always been. A younger cast to reflect the anime characters being young teenagers.

I have dropped many of my favourites dramas. I know with this drama before filming that Yang Mi was involved in an accident that might of had her pull out altogether. Gong Jun & Yang Mi fans got into heated exchanges on Weibo with GJ fans accusing YM of wanting to back out

Yuan Bing Yan was also suppose to have a major role in this drama but this happened during her tax scandals. Seems like this drama when filming came with problems

I have never seen a drama page in which people unanimously vent their disappointment in the performance of a drama. Wow. Not saying it is bad but actually quite good people are on the same page.

this is a first. Sometimes have to tread carefully as some actors really have die hard fans that can be triggered. Think those die hard fans actually the ones most disappointed

#3 happy ending

#2 is more the prequel to #3 funny enough. It's the story of Cheng Yi parents arc. #3 is actually the story more complete & solid from all the chapters. Cheng Yi & Li Yitong play good characters.

But again it's long and trend might be similar to this drama..have to wait and see

I have also watched those chapters for #2 & #3 and I think they will be more with the story but also think will just be one major 40 ep drama like this one. Keep in mind those animes again chapters over in like 40 min so they will drag it out IMO

These characters not inspiring enough to keep watching & the storyline is boring.

I watched the entire anime in 3 days. I think experts who have watched the anime would agree this drama is not following any fundamental structure of the original series. This drama is really just doing its own thing. I get it you can't ask Gong Jun & Yang Mi to do just 10 episodes, these usually commit to 40.

For those wondering, I do encourage watch the anime series on YouTube. I know it's for kids however it's a simple storyline. I think that might entertain you more.
