From their feedback they don’t seem to mind the adaptation so far. Sadly some story beats have been changed…
The anime is quick paced. You get through chapters quickly, like 10min episodes. This is longer will admit
They might be following some story but same time they are adding their own thing too so dramas go 40 episodes which is how these productions make money. Obviously they won't commit to 10-15min episodes
Well that's my take. Not trying to be negative but kind of outline the facts. Will continue to state the age of characters in the story. Perhaps younger cast would more fit the mould. That continues to be main point to of the fans accept it which been told from Weibo that's circulating from fans of the anime

I have watched more than half the last few days. Not all of it applies to this drama. Spread for 3 dramas
It really is a kids anime. Not like it's The Simpsons or Neon Genesis Evangelion which is targeted for adults. Anime is for a younger audience kids to teens

I have watched more episodes of the anime today. They are short & simple again mainly for kids
It seems that this drama isn't really sticking to the anime version. Just doing its own thing. Anime omg didn't know how quick you can get through chapters.
I have been doing alot of reading and watched bits of the anime series
I wonder if fans of the anime will reject this version? In hindsight the characters are suppose to be all kids (teenagers). Yang Mi and Gong Jun maybe young adults but not exactly teenagers. Young kids have that innocence about them that not sure this cast can pull off to convince fans of the anime series. I still think it can be a solid drama on the basis that the viewers ignore the anime series and story origins
Does anyone feel that Gong Jun displays softer feminine traits to his male lead character while Yang Mi is displaying the colder more masculine traits to her female lead character?
So far I think the drama is ok. Seeing comments on here people saying the romance not evolving. thinking maybe coming down to character tone?
I don't want to sound rude or like I am a troll. Do people think maybe this drama is on the childish side?
I was watching some of the anime & did some reading. These characters are literally all children as per the anime. Was just thinking could they have casted a younger cast but in turn don't think any production team would give massive budgets to inexperienced actors
Hi everyone I have a question I have watched until episode 5 which enjoying however I am seeing the ratings have dropped and still have 35 episodes to go. Personally I think this trend of long drama series is excessive. I really did enjoy years back when dramas were 24 episodes long.
How are people finding episodes 6-16?
Please let me know if finding it really entertaining or maybe drops off as yes do notice tempos with dramas goes up and down especially long dramas
I really love the fact this drama only has 5 episodes for me anyway to go as done with ep16
Reason so many dramas over do it. The impression I have with this drama is how clever it is. 1. Low budget drama 2. Experienced cast with young faces 3. Good concept
I see so many 35-40 episodes dramas that generally have periods where it becomes boring. I think they are set on quantity rather than quality. Well more episodes more money it makes. I enjoy the fact this drama is going out on entertaining & quality creating a drama with good pacing, friendly & easy for audience to understand & keep up.
I believe moving forward all dramas need to be 21-24 episodes. If actors want to do an encore then same leads should commit to 2 dramas together same network
I dropped this drama then watched a few more episodes so do understand if you do want to drop it. If people are…
I wasn't referring to Xu Kai character more so my feeling about the drama. I probably went in with wrong expectations along with others. Think the drama description needs to be properly revised. I enjoyed it but didn't leave wanting more
Am dropping this. Annoying and boring:( Read my review :)
I dropped this drama then watched a few more episodes so do understand if you do want to drop it. If people are watching this drama on hopes of a big development between Xu Kai & Yang Zi then I suggest to skip this drama or else you will never get 35 hours of your life back. Being a Xu Kai was left neither happy or annoyed but just flat
I do advocate for Xu Kai and still enjoyed plenty aspects of this drama and happy to see plenty of nice reviews on Chinese forums so do encourage people tune in but with the warning above. Those who drop will say it's ok because it's not a perfect drama but it's also not horrible
This show keeps going on from strength to strength Now the second lead couple looks good. Wan Peng with Zhang Chi is exciting. Think they are worthy enough to be elevated to support than guest roles. Du Lan finally had profile created yay

I find 38-40 episode drama is really a big time investment so maybe questions do need to get asked. But agree best judge for yourself

Blossoms in Adversity was amazing so was Zhang Jing Yi
Men in Love looks very nice as also is Liang Jie

I know, she is acting so well she deserves a profile. On douban she is credited for many roles
She has super low profile. Even her Weibo only like 7 thousand followers compared to Mark Ma 1 million followers & credited for roles in major dramas
