A breathtaking and heart-wrenching fantasy masterpiece!
Although Love in the Clouds isn’t finished yet, I can’t hold back from leaving a review — it has completely captivated me from the very first episode. Every detail, from the make-up and costumes to the stunning “sets,” draws you effortlessly into its enchanting fantasy world. The characters are beautifully written, even the supporting ones, giving real depth to the story. Yu Yao as Ming Yi’s feline companion has completely stolen my heart — moving gracefully and with such expressive eyes! Yu Cheng En as Situ Ling is another standout, and I have a feeling he’ll be the source of more heartbreak before the story ends.
And of course, I was instantly smitten with Hou Ming Hao as Ji Bozai. Beyond his otherworldly good looks, he brings real emotion and nuance to the role — showing vulnerability, distrust, and a touch of mischievous cunning with equal conviction. Lu Yu Xiao as Ming Yi is his perfect match; together they light up the screen. Their chemistry is simply phenomenal, and every shared moment between them feels alive.
I don’t know yet if we’ll get a happy ending, but I’ve already gone through several tissues. Love in the Clouds is truly an emotional and visual feast — unforgettable in every way.
