I don't normally comment under any shows, especially reality dating shows, but this show does it for me.
Although I, like many others, want Namnung and Sunny to be endgame, I think it's an unlikely outcome. It's more of an "I can only hope" kind of thing rather than "I know," and things like that make me unsure of their outcome. In fact, I've been watching Episodes 7-9 with zero expectations and hope for them as a pairing because I've watched enough of these kinds of shows that end up "baiting" for more views.
There's also something special about Namnung, particularly because I relate to her. It's only been around 10 days since the contestants met, and Namnung already seems so blinded in love with Sunny. My heart aches every time I watch Namnung with Sunny because her moments with her always end up being overshadowed by Time. I don't think Time is the bad guy the show is trying to portray him as, but it hurts knowing that he is the priority for Sunny while Namnung is only a backup option for her. For her to choose Namnung for an evening dinner date but choose Time for her X-Land date already says a lot about where Namnung and Time stand priority-wise. Like most people, I noticed the differences between how Sunny acts with Namnung and how Sunny acts with Time, but it’s clear Sunny still doesn’t know who to choose, and likes Time more right now.
People are also misunderstanding Namnung's choice of words with Time on their date in Episode 9. Namnung didn't choose Time because she was still interested in him; she chose him because she wanted to clear things up with him. She tells him to follow his heart, that she won't intervene in his business anymore. This makes me anxious for the finale because someone is going to get hurt in the end, and right now it seems like Namnung might be the one getting hurt. Her conversation with Time makes it seem like she somewhat gave up after realizing Sunny felt more attracted to Time because of their “sexual tension” and prioritized him over her. Sunny’s words, telling her that they could’ve been like Cherry and Asse if she had directly expressed her interest towards her from the very beginning, brought Namnung into hopelessness, considering the words and blaming it on herself. Namnung crying breaks my heart because she has been going through so much due to her love for Sunny, who keeps playing with her heart by going back to Time after every moment they have together.
Honestly, I’m coming into the finale with nothing for them. I wouldn’t be surprised if Sunny ends up with Time, just aching for Namnung, because I want a good ending for her. She deserves someone better than Sunny.
