Because some people will only watch one episode, and like you said things can change - people can also change…
I am being chill though, sorry if you take it otherwise. My point stands that it isn't too early for ratings or reviews. Episode 1 deserves a review and rating just as much as episodes 2-6. The point is to inform potential viewers of what there is to know so far. At this point in time episode 1 is all there is to review and again potential viewers deserve to be able to see opinions of that. There are many people enjoying this show so there being a lot of reviews really isn't that surprising. That happens on many shows when they're generally liked at the start and I've seen their ratings drop as the show goes on and opinions change.

Okay and ??? Nobody cares when you start to watch the show. Other people might want to see what others are reviewing the first episode as before they give it a chance. Why are you so pressed that people have an opinion about a show? Just because YOU don't watch it until that many episodes are out doesn't mean that others do. And also if there are reviews and ratings when there are that many episodes out then you should understand why people rate and review the shows as they go on no matter how many are out so far. It would be different if the entire series was released in one go, then it would make sense to not review until you've watched everything.
Every TV show - BL or not - gets reviewed per episode because each episode is like a single book in a series or a single movie in a franchise. Each episode gets its own rating which also affects the overall rating of the show. Stop being so pressed because people are reviewing things differently than your approved schedule.
Again as you've stated a review should allow a curious person a chance to see someone's opinion on a show based on what is available to watch - at this point it's only the first episode. If no one left a review how would someone who might want to watch the first episode but wants to see what people think know? The comments section isn't for reviews but is for conversation and many people avoid the comments because of the toxicity that exists in so many of the pages. So, a review allows someone to know what people think about what they might want to watch - just because you want to wait doesn't mean the rest of the world wants to. Which I'm saying as a potential viewer who came to see what the comments vs the reviews were saying before deciding whether or not I wanted to watch the first episode. So please kindly remember that reviews don't exist just for you and your watch schedule.

But the reviews do serve that purpose. The show is aired in parts, so the reviews are saying "this is my opinion so far" so that people coming in to see if the aired episodes are worth watching can see what the opinions are of what has been seen so far. So people can know if it's worth it to "waste their time" on the episodes out in the first place.
Since the show is aired in pieces you can't expect an initial review to consider the show as a whole. That would be like comparing a book review to a review of an entire book series.
WHY IS MDL ALLOWING RATINGS FOR 1 EPISODE OF A 14 EPISODE SHOW?When you see a 9.4 rating for merely 1 episode…
Because some people will only watch one episode, and like you said things can change - people can also change their rating as their opinions change. They are allowed to present their opinions on what they have seen so far.
So before going back to my Facebook group.. some thoughts.. As Black was attacked White felt it (still don't if…
One thing about trailers for these shows is that trailers tend to be filmed independently from the show. There's often moments/things said in the trailers that don't happen in the series. They tend to be more to show the general feeling of what the show is going to be. So I wouldn't focus too much on what was or wasn't in the trailer. As for everything else, yeah it's just kind of wait and see
